We started with 2 delicious appetizers. The buffalo chicken fries were phenomenal. Our main course was also delicious. The food came quickly and was done exactly how we ordered. We had a nice server, who took care of us all night. The inside is super cute with great lighting if you want to take pictures! They had the game on and fun music. A great spot for a night out with the girls!

We went to Wooden City Tavern and had some of the worst service so far since moving to Seattle. It was a Husky's game day but there was no wait and plenty of open seating so it wasn't too busy and other tables in the restaurant seemed to be having great service. We got seated immediately and then waited for our server. After 10 minutes (not too bad) they grabbed a drink order from us and the bartender delivered our drink very quick. That's where the "good" ended...We waited 40 minutes for our server to show up just to put in our food order. We got a Turkey Club and chicken tenders, both seemingly simple food items. As we sat there waiting for our food our server sat in the back and was impossible to find and never checked in on us. We finally waved someone down and asked for another beer. They put in our order and it sat on the bar waiting to be brought to us for 15 minutes and was room temp by the time we got it. We were assured our food was almost done... After waiting 45 minutes for food (after the first 40 minutes of waiting just to put in the order) we flagged someone down and asked to just box our food up and get us the tab. 5:00 arrived to restaurant and was seated5:10 drink ordered and delivered right away5:40 food ordered6:10 second drink ordered6:25 drink arrived and we asked for food to be boxed and to bring the tab6:35 finally got food and leftNote these were the only interactions with staff, at no other times did the server check in. I understand when a business is busy that food might take a while. But the fact that our server was MIA and other sections actually had attentive service showed this wasn't an issue due to being "busy". The table next to us with the same server also mentioned how crazy slow the service was.Giving 2 stars as they discounted the food due to the extreme wait. Never did I think a cold sandwich and two individual chicken tenders with some fries would take an hour and a half to get.

- bloody mary: not great, can get it spicy or not, spicy wasn't very spicy but tastes better, ate the garnishes before taking a picture but ended up switching out for a classic mimosa which was great (hard to mess up a mimosa!)- we started with the poutine, forgot to take a picture but really really good! good sharing portion for a brunch appetizer- eggs benedict: - avocado benny and bacon and tomato benny were both good, bread used was absolutely delicious ** one thing that was interesting one of us got the bacon and tomato and she asked if she could add avocado and they said they couldn't, could only add a side of avocado, which I thought was weird. - both sides good, salad dressing light and flavorful, potatoes are light but crisp, big portion!- breakfast burrito: yummy, good size, aioli is a highlight, not super spicy

Came here for their Christmas pop up bar and had the best night! Drinks are strong and obviously cute. Bar decorations are also well done, Christmas hula themed.Got here right at 4pm on a Saturday and a table for 6 no wait but I think if you get there later there's usually a wait. When we sat down we also found out it was happy hour! Great night overall had a blast New spot in green lake, they have one in Tacoma as well

Great dining option at Green Lake. Good options (wish they would bring back the hot dog) and TVs to boot to watch the game. If you sit by the fire tables, you can ask them to turn down the heat if you want.

We have only been to Wooden City Tavern once, during their Tinsel Town pop-up, but I feel like I can tell that this is my kind of place!I used to work at a gastro-pub with a vibe similar to this years ago in Dallas. What is special about the environment is that the atmosphere is lively, but the restaurant designers did their diligence. The acoustics of the space work in a way that the music is loud enough to hear clearly; however, it is not too loud that you are struggling to hear the person next to you or even the server or someone speaking to you from a reasonable distance. During the Tinsel Town pop-up, the playlist seemed to be carefully curated to blend Christmas classics with upbeat, unoffensive, subtle indie tunes that would likely fly under the radar for most, unless you're a fan, in which case you'll really dig (which we did!).My husband and I were excited to try it out a few weeks before Christmas but were a bit worried since they do not take reservations for parties less than 8 or 10 (I think). We rolled with the punches and put our name on the list with the host who was super kind and quoted that it would be about 30 minutes. She suggested we grab a drink at the bar and showed us where to go. We managed to find two open barstools and thought it was quite comfy, so we took our name off the list and stayed there. The craft cocktails are en pointe. You can tell they take their craft seriously. Even during the Tinsel Town pop-up, while there was probably an influx of customers, where a restaurant might want to take shortcuts, the bartenders delivered holiday spins on classic tiki drinks with pride. Each bartender that we had an exchange with was very friendly, although we did find food service to be quite slow--but that's to be expected on a busy Saturday night. We ordered the Bigfoot Long (hotdog), the Burrata, and the French Onion Soup--all to share. We waited and waited for the much-anticipated Bigfoot Long hotdog to come out... I'll admit, I have been following Bigfoot Longs on Instagram for a while and was super stoked to see that I would finally have an opportunity to try one of their elusive, fancy shmancy dogs at Wooden City Tavern. We checked on it, and the bartender said that she had coursed it to come out last, and it was still on its way. After another 30 minutes, we checked on it, and she said that the kitchen had actually 86'd the hot dog and never told her, so it would not be coming. She was super apologetic, and they took care of some of the other items on our check. We were having such a good time, and we appreciated the way that the restaurant handled the mistake--they were genuine in their apology, and the items that were comped more than made up for our inconvenience.I will definitely look forward to going back post-holiday season to see how the menu is updated! I can tell the crew at this restaurant is passionate about the food and drinks that they serve, so I expect there's lots of delicious things in store as the seasons change.

The holiday atmosphere and festive decorations at this place created a delightful experience. Our server was exceptionally kind and attentive, expertly answering all our questions. I opted for the draft cider, and it was simply great. The combination of warm hospitality and a festive setting makes this spot a perfect choice for a cheerful outing.

I had yet to come here since the switch of business from Shelter Lounge, and I had an awesome experience! A friend and I went for the Christmas ambiance and menu, and we were delighted by the decor and fun options for the holidays! Our server was very sweet and pretty attentive, and the other staff seemed to be as well. As a caesar salad connoisseur, I was VERY pleased with the caesar. The happy hour was also a great highlight. I will be returning for happy hour and for an unnecessarily extra holiday punch bowl! I would also love to come when the weather is a bit warmer for the patio and creative way they have made the outdoor experience happen.

OKAY. shout out to Jackie, Jam and Lana. PLEASE Give them A RAISE AND TAKE GOOD care of them three. They took amazing care of us. We didn't even really liked this place until we met them and given that we were a very indecisive and large group of people who were having a horrible day and they made it so much better because of their service, Honestly. PLEASE. Take good care of these ladies. Because they have worked so hard for it and because of them I will continue to come here and recommended this place to others. Thank you, Kenzie .
