This was our second time eating here. I only came back to try the Wood KFC fried chicken than my friend had on our first visit. I hate to give this place two stars since the food is so good! But the waiter we had this time around did not know the menu at all. We ordered a Pina Colada which was on the menu, he acted like we were making it up. Someone else came to help him and offered an alternative "better drink" - her words- Again, apetizers and entrees were so good, and I really loved the Wood KFC fried chicken. The waiter was acting weird through out the dining experience. When were done eating, the waiter offered dessert and brought us the dessert menu. I made my choice and asked for one of the options, then the waiter said "let me ask the kitchen if they can prepare it for you" I was in awe, since he offered the desserts. We just asked for our check, paid and left. Not sure if we're going back. The place is nice and cozzy - perfect for a date before heading to the club. I might try once more and change the review if I get better service.... because really, it was all on the waiter, unfortunatelly

I really enjoyed my first visit here. It's very cool yet cozy inside, and the tables are all spaced out far enough apart so people aren't on top of each other, which is great. There's also a very nice outdoor patio. Service was fantastic (thank you to our server, Nick, for being awesome). Our party began the night with two rounds of cocktails. Honestly, this was the only big miss of the night for me, and although the cocktails were extremely well-crafted, they just weren't to my taste. I ordered the Jigglypuff 2.0 first, admittedly just because the name made me laugh. It was so incredibly sweet that after a few sips I knew if I drank more, I'd be sick. Then I tried the Seersucker, which was good (my husband loved it), but just was not for me. Next time I'll try something else or stick with wine, as they have a great wine list and I enjoyed the bottle we had with dinner. The food we had was fantastic. We started with two appetizers, the porchetta tonnato (so good and so innovative!) and the spicy Italian flatbread (delicious!). Everyone at my table chose a different entree and enjoyed it. I had the mafaldine con agnello all'arriabiatta, which was quite good. There was much more meat in it than I expected, too: I assumed there would just be a bit mixed in with the sauce, but you get a ton of lamb along with the pasta, and the sauce has a great kick to it. For dessert, we shared the strawberries and cream, which was also extremely unique. I liked it but didn't love it as much as my dining companions did and will likely try something else next time. And there will definitely be a next time, because this place is really good.

Food: 5/5 Got the rigatoni ragu and the wood burger 2.0. Both PHENOMENAL. The beef fat frites grossly good. Service: 5/5 Decently quick, but never felt rushed. Server was relatable and funny. Ambiance: 5/5Not too bright, not too dim. Large bar seating for post dinner drinks. Music playlist was playful and light. Loud enough to enjoy the music, but quiet enough to hear my own conversation. Will definitely be back!

Everything here was excellent from the service to the drinks and the food. I had the Jigglypuff's Revenge and it turned out to be the best cocktail I have ever had. I had the Rigatoni Ragu for dinner and it was the best! So flavorful. We had four in our group and everyone loved their meal.

My boyfriend and I had dinner at Wood for Valentine's Day, and I need to come back to eat the rest of the menu. We chose to have several appetizer to share instead of entrees, and I recommend that route. The Escargot Vol Au Vent alone was worth the outing. If you are reluctant to try escargot, it was very reminiscent of a mushroom flavor. The Steak Tartare was very good, and I wish it had a poached egg in top. The pork belly was crazy good. I want to go back to sit at the bar. It was a very romantic space, and I had a perfect night!

Came here on a Friday night out and were able to get a table promptly even though we were 30 minutes early for our reservation. Staff was prompt and kind especially when there was a miscommunication about which dish we got. We ordered the heirloom tomatoes and burrata and the steak tartare, but also received the heirloom toast. All three were delicious including the toast which isn't something I'd have ordered but was amazing (and comped after the miscommunication was discovered)! We then had the 3.0 burger and the rigatoni ragu which were out of the world! Oh and the presentation of the tomato and burrata was exquisite 10/10.Mateo was a great server and the support staff always made sure we had the right plates etc at the right time and kept the table orderly. Great jobs all around!

Stopped in early last evening (Saturday) for a few drinks. Sat at the bar with my GF. The bartender was terrific and the drinks were excellent. I've had their food in the past and it's definitely high end bar fare. The vibe and the service were most on display this time there.

Love the venue. The food is decent.However. Our server was obviously stoned out of his mind. We ordered an espresso martini and two vodka sodas. The server/waiter brought us two IPA's and asked if it was ours. We were so confused because we already had our drinks o our table. I ordered the BimBimBop and he waited to till I was done with my meal (like last two bites) to bring the sauce out. He did bring me ketchup to go with it ... I was so confused. This place has a lot of potential but they need to hire better staff.

If you have dietary restrictions, beware! This restaurant changes menu quite frequently and they don't update their website to match their current menu, which you'd think would be a simple thing to do in 2024. Being a vegetarian, I looked at their web menu and convinced myself that there are two vegetarian entree options for me, made a reservation and went there with my out of town friends, one of whom is also a vegetarian. Once there, we found that none of the 16 entrees (yes none out of SIXTEEN) is vegetarian and the server was like the only veg option is creste di gallo al farmaggio and we will just keep ham out :(Also, they provide menu only with QR code - my friend's phone battery died and we asked the server if he can provide paper menu for him and they didn't have one.What puzzles me here is QR code sends you to the latest menu hosted online, so i have no idea why they couldn't publish it in their public facing website so people with dietary restrictions can decide for themselves ahead if they want to go there?
