Wok N' Bao

For a fast casual type of Asian restaurant this isn't bad. It has been much better than expected each time I've ordered something from here. Wok N Bao is like Asian street food, but you can eat inside. Has a limited menu with a mix of Chinese and Vietnamese food. The prices are really good compared to nearby places. Going here is convenient from the Ogilvie Transportation Center. It's almost across the street, and takeout is a popular option here. The place is kind of small, so it's not a good place for groups for sure. It has a counter to order at. They have alcohol on the menu but they weren't serving any last time. Instead I got a can of Co Co Rico. This is an Asian pop, with coconut flavor, so it goes good with most things. I got the Mapo Tofu Bao. It's only $4 each. These have Fresno chilis, green onions, and radish. One may be small but it has lots of flavor. These are convenient to eat here fast or to eat later. Better than expected. It doesn't have any alcohol as of the last time here. There's not a whole lot of vegetarian options but what they have are some baos and salads.

Man I was really looking forward to the Pork Belly Loaded Fries, unfortunately I did pickup so I didn't notice the "loaded" part was missing. When I finally sat down to eat I was so sad to see that all I got was fries.. I paid $12 for a box of plain fries.. WTH... I'm giving 3 stars because the noodles I ordered were very tasty.

Ordered from Uber eats and I requested tofu instead of veggies and I got charged an extra $2.50. Also I ordered the street bowl in which the main ingredient is noodles and it came without noodles, so basically just a bowl of cabbage and a few pieces of tofu.

We got their noodle, bao, and wings combo. Everything had a great flavor! The bao were small but tasty. You only get 3 wings in the half order but they had great flavor. The best value was the noodle bowl. Lots of chicken! The location is right next to the French market so it's easy to go to both places at the same time. I would definitely come here again and try a different combination in the future.

Man listen! The MSG wings are so good here! The perfect crunch, gooey-ness, flavor and heat! The dipping sauce is amazing also.A coworker passed this place for weeks and mentioned that he'd always wanted to try it for lunch. We decided to give it a try. Ordered via Ritual and got 3 bao for $1 and the wings for $9. Pickup was quick and easy.I ordered the pork, chicken and beef bao offerings. All were pretty flavorful! But the wings have stolen my heart!The next day (yes the very next day) I went back and tried the Udon noodles with the MSG wings. I found the noodles to be seasoned with a ton of ground ginger which I didn't like. I had to add some soy to balance out the flavors. Maybe they missed a step in the kitchen?All of the staff that I've encountered both trips were very friendly. Definitely going back.

All I can say is YUMMY!!I went once & been hooked every since. Yerit is the hostees. She was so helpful & patient. The Chef are Bomb!!!!!! The food is Delicious!Music is Fye!!!!!!You gotta stop by

I had the Wok n Bao combo (Peanut and Chicken Rice Noodle Street Bowl with a Pork Belly Bao). Good value. The bao bun was fresh and I loved the Pork Belly flavor. I recommend eating quickly as the juices make it a tad soggy. The street bowl was fresh with plenty of veggies; the sauce found its way to the bottom so I enjoyed the dish more the further along I got. I personally didn't find the peanut sauce to be very spicy so if you're looking for a kick go for a different sauce or add the Sambal Oelek they have available. Vibes are perfect for a lunch spot with friends. I would recommend and will be back.

Called to ask if they were open and the guy told me to fuck off...lmao??? It was the most confusing thing ever. It didn't have their hours on google maps so I called. Whats wrong with you dude??? Do u hate ur life that bad???

My colleague and I came here for a week day lunch and man was it good!! We had an amazing time watching the chefs cook and flambé. I ordered soba noodle with vegetables, ginger soy and fun sauce. It was great tasting, and satiating. The quantity is alot. You can have it for two meals easily. We ordered a chicken bao, fish bao and tofu bao, al 3 were really good but the chicken bao was our favorite. I would definitely come back to this place. It is close to work, service is quick and food is tasty.
