Wines In The Fork

An interesting, popular winery in a VERY touristy (apparently most go to a live music venue, as we didn't see anything else to see) small town. VERY expensive*.The parking is sparse, the tasting room in an old (but clean) house. They do have a small creek out back, where you're welcome to pull a chair in and cool your feet - a nice touch I've seen nowhere else. However, you're not going to get an intimate experience unless you like drinking in crowds. I should admit - a lot of people do. Live music is often available.All these complaints, so why the high rating? Well, the wines are actually good (though if you know my wife and I, you'll know we couldn't blind-taste the best wine if our lives were bet on it). Best was the sparkling, then the Chardonel as far as our tastes could tell.* We bought 4 bottles after a tasting - just shy of $200. The wine was good, but really, this is just soaking the Nashville area hipsters (IMHO). OK, they gave us the glasses too.

I did not do a formal tasting inside and instead went to the back where you can buy wine by the glass or bottle. There are tables and chairs throughout the area, many choosing to be on the creek. There was live music from 1-4pm that day and the jazz duo was talented. Wonderful place to relax. Kids and dogs allowed, just make sure to respect the property lines. There are stairs leading down to the creek. In terms of parking, it is very limited on the street. We parked on a free lot towards the beginning of the town.

Date of visit: February 22, 2024My daughter and I took a break from Nashville to the countryside. We found this winery in the cutest town. What a gem this place is! It is adorable. There are olive oil and vinegar tastings! Yum! Then we had the best tasting experience and great wines. We had such a marvelous time mainly because of the server: Michelle. We had so much fun with her and felt like we were friends. If ever we are back in that area, we will go to Wines in the Fork!

Cute wine shop selling bottles of their own label wines from their local vineyards. Wines by the glass are sold outside from a hillside tent and are best enjoyed sitting in an Adirondack chair on the banks of the stream flowing behind. The setting is relaxing and pleasant especially when knocking off a bottle of Chardonnay -- creates a nice rosy glow to the whole experience.

I would definitely go back.. the wine, service and ambience were amazing! They have this creek and you're able to just hangout and drink in the creek.

What a great experience today! I made a reservation for "Wine in the Creek." I had a charcutier board with cheeses, fruits, nuts, bread, etc.... and of course wine. It was excellent. The wine was excellent. I had a table in the creek where my feet were in the cool running creek water. Listening to live music. I will absolutely come back to hang out. Such a cute little wine tasting experience! We tasted 4 wines at the bar - it was just us so it felt very personal and they were very attentive. After, we got a glass of wine to take and enjoy by the creek!

This place is so cute! We went for the songwriter night which was great. It would of been nice if they had a sound system it was hard to hear in the back. Staff is very friendly. They have bug spray available for being outside. Street parking only. Prices very reasonable for a wine tasting room. Only complaint is this has such a cute vibe but the bathroom is a porta potty, which is away from the sitting area in the dark for the night event. There is no reason a bathroom inside should not be available. I've gone to plenty of tasting rooms all which have bathrooms not porta potties.

Really fun! We did a tasting and the man helping us was very knowledgeable. The weather was cold/rainy so we were not able to go outside however it looked to be perfect for better weather. Really fun date day and the wine was delightful.

Great wine, beautiful scenery and amazing friends always warrant a good time! We lmpressions red wine!
