Love love love this place!!! The owner Mary is quirky, fun and knows her stuff. I'm part of her beer club and her wine club because she caters to your taste while getting you great value. If you are a wine or beer enthusiast definitely stop by, chat her up and let her run you thru her tastings you won't be sorry. I recommend this place to all my friends.

I cannot stop raving about The Wine Shop! Last summer I joined as a wine club member. Since then, I have yet to have a bad bottle of wine. The wines selected by Mary, the owner, are fantastic and definitely not ones I would have picked on my own. Recently I attended a Saturday wine tasting where I reluctantly tried a gewurztraminer (which has never been a favorite) from Lumos winery. It was OUTSTANDING! What's more, Mary is very good at recommending wines that you will enjoy!Thank you, Wine Shop, for broadening my wine horizons (and adding some much needed culture to Smokey Point!)

This place is small and adorable. Really good friendly people. The wine I like I can find cheaper at other places but I don't mind getting it here since it its a family owned store. I always come here for my wine.

I can't believe I haven't written a review on this place yet! Let me start by saying the owner Mary is amazing. She is friendly, attentive to her customers, and knowledgeable about her selections. I have been going to The Wine Shop since they opened there doors. I really wanted to start drinking red wine instead of the cheap $6 Riesling you can get from Walmart. She started my off with sweet reds until my palate became more refined. Now I thoroughly enjoy a medium body red wine. Here selections are expansive for a small shop and she holds wine tastings over the weekends. They also have a wine of the month club that allows you many discounts on products within the store. Great service, amazing staff, and awesome wine!

I was so glad to see this place open! The owner seems familiar with all the wines in her shop. She has always been able to recommend wines that I would enjoy and she sells cute little items as well! Aside form the nice selections they carry, there are usually good bottles on sale. Plus, the wine tasting on the weekends are nice, hosted by a rep.

Andrew and Stephanie have continued to make The Wine Shop the place we want to go for wine and weekend tastings. They remember what we like, have great variety, good pricing, and above all, are friendly! We have been Wine Club members since day one, and always appreciate the selection of Cabs that are picked out for us. Keep up the informative wine emails, we love them!

LOVE this shop! Andrew, his wife and staff have done a great job of keeping this shop a the top of my "go to" list after he purchased the store from the previous owner when she moved. He remembers what you like, and knows his wine. We get a mixed case of reds for my Wine Club selection each month, and he always provides me with great wines. Shop local and family owned! Thanks Andrew!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! They do not allow you in the store. A lady comes out to "ask" what you want. She then "writes it down" and "checks" if they have it. Unless you know exactly what you want, to the T, this business is annoying and a complete waste of time. I can only guess they're liberalized big time bc of they're giant "8 ft distance" sign and signs that state you are not welcome to "shop and browse" in their store. She asked for our phone number for her to call us. How are you guys making any money and still in business with this garbage??
