The bar is deceptively large - if you walk in, you'll find another room, and then the outdoor patio (which is sealed off and heated in the colder months) which is perfect. Love the moose and all the cute bar touches.Better-than-average bar food. Next time we'll try the steamed broccoli. The salad was a delight. Poutine and cheese curds are always a hit.

You definitely feel like you're walking into a northern Wisconsin bar. It's not really a supper club. They do have a fish fry and a Friday night, however. Great decor, friendly service, good beer selection. They have four different bar areas, they have an outdoor seating area.

I love the patio here in the summer. Do I think the chicken Caesar wrap is one of the best in the city? No- but it's still a great bar!

Wills was a last minute decision when my fiance wanted to break dry January and was craving a burger. We walked in on Thursday night to a fairly quiet bar and friendly bar staff and sat at the bar. The walls are covered in a mix of packers memorabilia and cabin vibes. I mostly appreciated all of the inquire stained glass windows and lighting fixture. It has all the vibes of a typical dive bar. As for the food & drink I was happy with what we got. I'm currently not drinking and was pleased that they had multiple NA options for beers. I had been craving a chicken Caesar salad and my fiance ordered the bacon burger with cheese curds on the side. My salad came out as a wrap and the bar tender promptly had it fixed. I love eating salads out of big mixing bowls at home so I greatly appreciated the big metal bowl as a serving method. The cheeseburger was also great and the cheese curds (although not very squeaky) were still 10/10. Overall, the food was better than expected and the service was prompt. If you're craving bar food and in the area I'd recommend.

Top chicken Caesar salad wrap in the city. Also makes me feel at home to my family vacation spot with the Northwoods vibes.

What a fun neighborhood bar! We went yesterday with my WI family after they drove my son and I home from...WI. So what we love WI....we sat on the patio outside and the bartender was so friendly, especially towards our (and everyone else's) dog. We all had beers and burgers with fries. The fries were outstanding but I didn't especially love my burger, especially the almost raw bacon it came with, but being starving and on toddler time, I picked it off and ate everything. As we were walking back to our apartment I told my Chicago born husband (who had been good natured-ly grumbling about having to live by a Packers supporting bar) that we should definitely go back because the patio is so nice and they are extremely dog friendly. He responded that we should go back because they are so people friendly.

So I love the ambience and the fact that I could find some great pro-Wisconsin folk while visiting some high school friends. It has been a very long time since I've been blocked from entering a bar by a bouncer requesting my ID, so that was likewise a fun blast from the past. The bar is deceptively large with a lot of different places to find a seat. We came on a weekday not knowing it was trivia, thought about leaving as a result, but said "what the heck" and instead got very invested in this game of trivia. Overall a fun time at a fun bar, I would definitely come here for a Packers or Badgers game if I'm ever in town during one. Despite having the city-wide Wisconsin pull, it also had the ambiance of a chill, neighborhood watering hole. Love it.I came here at the end of November, so I was not pleased by the lack of dark beer options but oh well. I still had a good beer and got to try a NA beer I'd never heard of before - something with "pine" and it was delicious. My buddies had to order the cheese curds, which they found to be great, and I found to be a bit lackluster. I had high hopes, but I didn't find the cheese to be that impressive. We actually all stopped and pondered whether or not it was mozzarella. Still, as items of fried cheese, they were not un-tasty and we finished the basket among the 5 of us. The breading was fried nicely. Only two ordered food, but the sandwich looked great and their fries are INCREDIBLE. If I hadn't just come from dinner, I'd just sit with a basket of fries all night in sheer fried bliss. Next time. Another buddy ordered the salad and it was like he got an entire salad bar. The salad was beautifully presented in a large metal mixing bowl and it was enormous. I also give Will's mad points for having an entire section of their menu for steamed broccoli. Even with the average curds, this is now one of my new favorite menus and I fully intend to come back.

Who needs to drive to Wisconsin for some quality cheese curds when you have Will's right here in Lakeview? Seriously, this bar makes it feel like you're smack dab in America's Dairyland with its log cabin feel and Wisco sports memorabilia.I grabbed a seat at the bar on a somewhat busy night the week between Christmas and New Years, and we truly had a blast. Between the hospitality of the bartenders (shout out to my Mizzou girl) and the new friends we made seated next to us, Will's might be the friendliest bar in Chicago. They offer an extensive beer menu along with a full bar and some hard seltzers. They were actually doing a promotion with High Noon the night we came by and they were giving them out along with koozies. At one point we did a $3 mystery shot, where you roll a dice to determine your fate. All liquor options are wrapped in a brown paper bag, so you really don't know what it is until it's down the hatch. The cheese curds are insanely delicious and everyone is nice as heck. My kind of place!

One of my favorite neighborhood dive bars in Chicago - I've been for fish fry, I've been for euchre league nights, and I've been just to grab a drink with friends. I'm not a Wisconsin sports fan but I can still appreciate all the quirky decor they have, including the gigantic moose on the patio. Speaking of the patio - they have a separate bar with TV's and plenty of outdoor seating. The only time I'd avoid Wills is during a big Wisconsin game - count on this place being totally packed. My go-to here is a draft beer (usually original Leinenkugel) and the cheese curds - it'll transport you 50 miles straight north. Their fish fry is also good, but they only offer it on Fridays. All of the servers are great and if you accidentally leave your tab open, they just close it for you with a standard 20% tip. All around great atmosphere. Come check it out for yourself!
