Stumbled across the place when seedling for a bakery after grabbing coffee and I'm thoroughly impressed the bagel dog was with a hotlink instead of a hotdog. It was very very tasty. We also got the carrot cake Concha and some type of pastry that had strawberries and cream. And the breakfast sandwich as well. It was amazing. We will definitely be frequenting the place. Parking was easy the service was good and the place had a friendly vibe about it.

I definitely feel like this place is a little too overhyped. When I went there was barely any bread left. I also kind of wished they had a better selection for drinks such as lattes and more speciality coffees. There isn't any seating so you would need to take your food to-go. I got what seems like an egg sandwich with corn inside and my friend got a pineapple danish. The bun felt dry to me and the egg with the corn didn't really work well together in my opinion. I'm bummed because I always wanted to try this place due to the long line and rustic aesthetic. However, my friend and I agreed that there are way better bakeries here in SD.

A perfect neighborhood bakery. Open only Friday thru Sunday, 8 am to 2:30 pm.The sausage potato breakfast roll bread is the texture of if a brioche and a cotton candy had a baby. Soft, warm, and fluffy! The egg omelette inside was light and airy too and didn't use too much mayo.I thought the inside of the glazed berry croissant would be the best part but the outer flaky bits were exceptional! The perfect amount of crunch and glaze. The coconut bee pollen concha was good but not something I would absolutely have to order again. The unique flavor was fun!We enjoyed eating outside on their side patio area. No tables - just a long bench - but there was room for 4 separate groups of people. We will absolutely be back!

Friendly service, great fairly priced and creative pastries, and plenty of outside seating! The line moved quick and we loved everything that we got. Crispy buttery flaky pastry that is freshly made and offers a nice creative break from the standard bakery fare. The cinnamon roll was my favorite not overly sweet with a robust cinnamon flavor. This and wayfarer are my go tos for pastries in San Diego!!

Came here to pick up some sourdough for a get together and had to try other things. The sourdough ($8) though not pictured, was delicious. Crusty with a soft flavorful inside and was great with the kraut my friend made. I also tried the sausage roll ($5), which was more pretzel- like in texture with a well spiced half sausage. The almond croissant ($4) was ok. There was a small amount of paste in it that was about 1/5 of the way through and wasn't visible when I cut it in half. I like the idea of a sesame croissant ($5). It was very flaky but I wasn't a fan of the paste. It kind of reminds me of potato in texture. They give a generous amount so if you like it, you'll really enjoy this pastry. My friend raves about their variety of breakfast sandwiches (~$8) which, when I stopped by, had a veggie and a pulled pork version. I wasn't in the mood but they did look tasty if I were hungrier. They also had a quail egg with kimchi on a pastry that looked interesting but I didn't try. Maybe next time!

This place is so good I don't even want to make a review because more people will go. From the fresh baked croissants to the unique breakfast ideas, I think this is my new morning go to spot. I took my daughter with me and I knew it was a good spot when you see the line out of the door. We felt like ants entering into someone's house as the decorations and the storefront looked so unique and artistic, which I would say, matches the artistry of their bread making. Service was great and my big go to suggestions are the giant cinnamon bun and the croissants and the breakfast sandwich and basically anything .

I love when I try something different and find a gem. I came here one time just for a quick breakfast sandwich and left with a matcha concha that I honestly still dream about til this day, weeks later. I have been trying to find excuses to be in this area again just to have it. This might have been the best concha I've ever had. I had two of the breakfast sandwiches here. Both were specials. He vegetarian. One with meat. That wasn't nearly as good as the concha. It was a little cold and I thought it was missing something. Maybe a spicy jam or something. That's the reason why it's a 4 star and not a 5. There's no seating inside nor outside. So it's a grab and go place. Everything looks appetizing so shoutout to whoever the cook is. I didn't have the coffee. Parking is tough. It's right on the corner and it's not well lit so it could be easy to miss. Staff super chill and although it was busy when I was entering they seemed happy to see each and every person. They speak Spanish as well.

Excellent bakery in San Diego! I always love checking out local bakeries and we were delighted by Wildwood! The quality of their offerings were all excellent and everything we tried that day was delicious!

Incredible croissants and the blue corn pastry was a must. Their flavors change all the time but I wouldn't shy away from their unique options! Best croissants I've had. The cinnamon roll was alright--wouldn't get it again though.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint. I got a sesame bagel with sardine/yuzu cream cheese, a porkfloss/hashbrown/chili croissant, and a guava concha. The sesame bagel + cream cheese was good, would be better if the bagel was warmed and the guava concha was really nicely balanced. But what was insane was the croissant. The lamination was beautiful and had gotten nice and crisp on the top. When I bit into it, the top offered the most perfect crunch and the flavor of the filling was INSANE. Will definitely be back to try the other baked goods!
