Wild Hare Bar Garden restaurant is located in a stylish Hilton hotel, on the main entry level, in downtown San Diego. Reservations were made, which made everything go smoothly.The menu has a few vegan options, which can be found with a little orange carrot next to it. The service was amazing--If you're reading this Lindsey, thank you! I ordered the Miso Truffle Ricotto with truffled mushrooms, arugula, and roasted tomatoes. It was quite lovely.I enjoyed my meal and would order it again. Restrooms were clean and tidy; friendly vibes all around!Tip:Valet and Street Parking

***Good Service, Pricey, Hilton Stay Review***I stayed here for a long weekend. The food here is pretty good. I enjoyed their lunch menu far more than the breakfast. The chicken torta was delicious and very filling. One recommendation is that their frittata needs more seasoning. Otherwise great service and love the indoor and outdoor seating options.

MEDIOCRE. MEDI..OK(3 stars)Night before ComicCon and the down was quiet af. Couple tourists roaming the streets and many restaurants shutting down early because it's a Tuesday. Landed here because... I really don't know why. The bar looked nice and inviting! Had less than 30 minutes to order before closing. POPPING AHI TACOS ($16) - Marinated Ahi, avocado purse, shiso, black truffle mayonesa, popping candy. Meh. It was basically pop rocks on super dry tiny ahi tuna tacos. Not worth the money spent. The ahi didn't appear or tasted "marinated". It tasted like.. dry ahi tuna with a squirt of puréed avocado and some honey flavored pop rocks. WANDERING DOE ($16)Rumhaven coconut water rum, Pineapple Juice, Lime Juice, Vanilla. The sip was better than the bite. Super easy to drink, tastes like juice. Taste like a less tart-sweet pineapple juice - vanilla tones the tart down. RECOMMEND Probably not be back but I'm not discouraging any of yall to go yourself.Until the next review....

Ehh.....server was alright but not attentive. Once we got our food we never saw her again except for the bill. Food was not that great. The food wasn't good. The tenders were edible but they didn't have the sauce that was advertised on the menu, or ranch. Only ketchup. The fries were cold and undercooked. The sauce under the steak was just plain gross. Overpriced and awful food. Avoid!

As a local heard about a Yappy Hour event. Bring your pup, have drinks, etcHad a couple freebies when you walked in then not much interaction. Only 2 other people / dogs showed up. They said they always come. There were 2 raffle prizes and they went to the people who always come.......three of us total. The drinks were good. The Brussels sprouts should have been. Good flavor but still really raw. Overall won't attend another yappy hour but might pop in for a drink.

I actually came here for a Yelp event, but ordered off the menu on the side. The Hare-Raiser drink had a little kick to it. It was strong &def have no complaints. The "Fried Brussel Spourts" was not fried. It was soggy. But the flavor was okay. If it was a bit crispy it would be something I'd want to order regularly. IF I go back. With the pork belly banh mi, I might be a little biased on it. But why would garlic cojita fries be offered to be paired with it?? It was plain.. both the banh mi& the fries unfortunately. There just wasn't enough sauce& it just tasted dry. I don't know if I'd be able to come back. Maybe if they cooked on a day that didn't have an event, I might wanna try it again..

What a wonderful place to grab a cocktail and unwind, or turn-up, for the day or evening. This drink was so good- and unique. Mellisa (I think her name was), was friendly and suggested this drink. I tend to stay in my lane with drinks- but I'm glad I listened.

Had a salad and it was amazing... super light but a great portion and with lots of flavor and the tomatoes were really fresh and tasty also. Great bar service from Catherine and Melissa also. I had the Hare Raiser cocktail ... delicious ...the next day I had the wings... they were good but the one thing I would change is to have carrots and celery with them... for the buffalow sauce the green herbs or cilantro looking stuff didn't go... other than that everything was great

We came here for an event and it was absolutely stunning the drinks were so good, the food and decore was absolutely gorgeous. We got a chance to meet the talented head chef and he explained all of inspiration that drives the restaurant! The drinks and vibes made by Karem really set this place apart. I will be back for a proper dinner!

Hilton has stepped up their game by incorporating Wild Hare Bar Garden as part of their 22.5 million dollar renovation. This whimsical hare inspired gourmet delight is historical reflection on San Diego's vibrant past, known as "Rabbitville". Wild Hare boasts indoor and outdoor areas to lounge and enjoy the sunny San Diego weather all while enjoying delectable creations by executive chef, Frank Barajas. The bar service was impressive serving delicious hare inspired cocktails to enhance the experience. , such as "Hare-raiser" and "What's up doc?". My favorite featured plate is the popping Ahi tostadas! The crunch of the tostada paired with the "pop rocks" inspired garnish is a great twist to an already fantastic dish. Wild Hare Bar Garden is a mist visit when you are in the historic gaslamp area!
