Food is always amazing. I love the orange chicken with fried rice. Service is always prompt and polite. The ambiance is surprisingly upscale for a Chinese restaurant. I want to come here and get the lunch special which comes with a spring roll and $2 off any entire.

Wild Ginger Asian Bistro is located in an aesthetically pleasing strip mall in Gilbert and the decor inside is simple but clean. It felt a little dark inside, but low lighting obviously doesn't impact your food at all!Our server was exceptionally kind and patient with our daughter that came with us. She brought out her fried rice ahead of our mains to help manage our busy toddler. That was greatly appreciated and thoughtful.We ordered the egg rolls which are HUGE. I mean absolutely massive and thick, which made it difficult to really enjoy the crispy shell. The flavor of these was good, but the ratio of filling to shell is off due to the size of them.Chicken lo mein was about what I expected but not as tasty as I secretly hoped it would be. The noodles were well cooked as were the veggies, but it was more oily than flavorful. It left me a little disappointed. The shrimp pad thai had a sweeter flavor and wasn't very spicy which was surprising.All in all, this was a decent place to dine it. I don't know that I'd drive out of the way to eat there again, but I can see this place being a local go to for quick Asian cuisine.

Looking for a new Chinese Food restaurant to try decided to place an order to go. We ordered the Mongolian beef, Master Gee chicken and the kids orange chicken meal.Mongolian beef - the texture of the beef was rubbery and weird. It had a very strong seafood taste. It was difficult to eat. Master Gee Chicken and Orange Chicken - were both ok but I probably wouldn't get it again. The fried rice was very bland and the egg drop soup was fine. Probably the best thing out of everything we ordered. It's a very run of the meal Chinese. I will say the lady at the counter was very friendly and my order was ready when I showed up. Just probably not my cup of tea food wise.

Meh. We got edamame, sweet and sour chicken, lettuce wraps and king Pao chicken. None of it was above average. The kids meal portion was nice and large. Service was good and I asked for spicy mustard and it was awesome. Prices are decent but we will probably stick with something else.

I've been looking for a decent General Tso's chicken and I've definitely found one here. I usually make my own so I wanted to see what it tastes like at a restaurant. I've noticed that my recipe is more tangy and spicy while restaurants usually make theirs sweeter. This one was definitely on the sweeter side, but it wasn't too saucy and the chicken pieces were of good quality. In a nutshell, I would say that Wild Ginger Asian Bistro has good food and good prices- meaning you will get plenty to eat here!

We ordered Wild Ginger the other day because we were craving Chinese food and the menu and reviews sounded appealing. We ordered a wide array of dishes off of DoorDash. The food came relatively quickly and I was impressed that it was still hot. For Appetizers, we ordered Crab Rangoons & Crispy Roasted Pork. The Crab Rangoons were really good. It's hard to find "authentic" Crab Rangoon in Arizona but these came close. Crispy, sweet and stuffed with crab. The Crispy Roasted Pork was really fatty and not very flavorful. I would never get that again. For Entrees, we shared a bunch of different entrees. We got Wild Ginger Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Pad Thai, Curry Chicken, and Chicken Lo Mein with a cup of Wonton Soup. The Wild Ginger Chicken was really crispy and flavorful. I loved the contrast of the spiciness and sweetness. The Sesame Chicken was decent but I've definitely had better. The Pad Thai was strange because the noodles were pale yellow and had no sauce on them. They were surprisingly flavorful for being so dry but they could have used some sauce. The Curry Chicken was really bad. The chicken was full of gristle and fatty. We threw it out after a few bites because it was barely even edible. The Chicken in the Lo Mein was a bit better but the noodles tasted like old grease. The Wonton Soup was very bland. Overall, a mixed bag. I would not go back, at least in the near future. Definitely a bit underwhelming compared to most of these reviews. Also... 8 health code violations?
