This restaurant is a gem in Renton's Fairwood neighborhood. Come here for delicious, authentic Chinese food! My mom even comes up from Pierce County just for this restaurant - and y'all know how hard it can be to impress a Chinese mama. Tonight we ordered the mapo tofu, a fish and fried tofu dish, the garlic eggplant, and the Mongolian beef (not pictured bc we ate it too fast). Everything was stand out! My favorite was probably the fish and tofu dish that came out sizzling, but it's honestly hard to pick a favorite. If you like eggplant, seriously don't skip out on the eggplant! They of course also have the standard orange chicken and such. They also have an awesome lunch combo with those American-Chinese options that we sometimes get too. It's also very good. Sit down service comes with free tea. Unless you're getting a combo, you do have to order rice separately with entrees. Service is basic but very fast - our drinks were never empty. Highly recommend eating family style so you can try more dishes! I don't bother reviewing places often but really love the food at this place. Five stars for sure.

New Owners! Food and decor much improved. Place was painted, new tables and booths. Food is so much better. Really like this place now. Give it a try, it is located in Fairwood, and convenient to us.

Wild Garlic has become one of my favorite restaurants. This is one of very few places in the Greater Seattle area where I can get authentic Cantonese dishes. The restaurant is quite small but I love it because I think we get more personalized service that way. When it is busy, the kitchen may be a bit slow but quality is never compromised so I have no problem even if I have to wait a bit once in a while. I really appreciate the consistent quality dishes produced by them.Unlike many other Chinese restaurants, Wild Garlic does not have a tank for live seafood. Patrons can bring their own live seafood, and have their kitchen prepare your favorite seafood dishes at a nominal fee. I have not been disappointed thus far. Support local small businesses and give them a try!

I recently discovered Wild Garlic Chinese, and it has quickly become my go-to spot for Chinese food when I don't feel like driving into Seattle. The food here is absolutely fantastic! Not only is the cuisine delicious, but the service is also top-notch - the staff are friendly and attentive. Despite its small size, the restaurant is incredibly cozy and comfortable. Plus, they offer various seating options, including booth seating, regular tables, and family-style seating, making it perfect for groups of any size. I'm tempted to visit this place weekly, but realistically, once a month will have to suffice!

Since 2022, my family have come back here repeatedly. We have tried other Chinese restaurants, Mandarin, Shanghai flavors, but keep coming back here. If you have a large party like, over 6 people, best to make reservations day before. Also, the best Roast Duck (whole), you will need to pre-order the day before. You just as well, for your large party, pre-order multiple dishes. We love all dishes: Pork Belly with Preserved vegetables, Fried fish filet w/Tofu, Mapo Tofu, fresh Gai Lan Mui (young Chinese brocolli), Crispy Chow Mein Hong Kong Style. All excellent. Cannot think of a dish that was not good. We brought fresh crab and lobster to have them cook them in any flavor, they charge for the cooking only. This is the best value in the area to eat fresh lobster and crab, Chinese style. Go to a seafood Market and buy your live crustaceans. Bring them earlier in the day before your dinner reservation that you want your seafood cooked. They need this notice to plan their cooking on their different stoves. Wild Garlic is not a large restaurant but excellent food and lower priced than most Chinese restaurants in Bellevue.

Friendly service, tasty food with ample portions. The lemon honey walnut prawns were the best and did not disappoint! Looking forward to exploring the menu.

We ordered House Pork Fried Rice, House Chow Mein and Broccoli with Vegetables. We wanted duck but it has to be ordered 24 hours in advance. The fried rice was dry and bland. No seasoning. The chowmein was under cooked: the noodles tasted like flour. All the sauce for the broccoli beef was in the bottom of the bag. Needless to say, we won't be back.

Tried this place today, I got wonton soup and special fried rice that had pork chicken and beef. Both were delicious! Sad the fried rice didn't have peas or carrots in it though. So didn't look amazing color-wise but it did have excellent flavor. The server was nice and attentive and the price was really decent! I would definitely come back here! I actually remember noting that the booth seats were really comfy/springy.Sadly both me and my friends fortune cookies had the same exact fortune lol so that took away the magic

Gross, fatty, not crispy at all. Oddly slimy and the weird off flavor. Go to Lucky Star in Kent way way better
