We have used Young Electric in the past and have been very satisfied, particularly with Young Electric resolving any issues after the initial work was complete. That is a huge plus to my wife and me. This recent work involved replacing a chandelier pennant that is about 16' up off the main living floor. Tom was assigned to the task. He did splendid work and his completed work looks great. We are quite happy with the results. We are also quite happy with the costs. We thought the costs of completing this task were very fair. We highly recommend using Young Electric for your electrical work.

Asked for an estimate on a bigger residential rewire job. Estimates are not free and they inform you of this when you request services. But they do not say how much.....it was way over $100 just for the estimate and the estimate was nearly $6000.00 for the whole job. I priced out the cost of the materials and it was less than $500 retail. That makes the job $5500. Too much in my opinion...way too much. I appreciate the skills it takes to be an electrician, but some others do free estimates and give a reasonable price.Follow up, I found another very good company to do the work for $1400. They did very good work. That is $4600 cheaper than Young.

I have utilized Young Electric for serveral projects and issues. Alex is usually the electrician who comes to the house. He is great to work with, very professional, knowledgeable and polite. I had a ceiling fan stop working. The fan has a remote kit installed and would shut itself off and on and increase and decrease speed at random. June 22nd, Alex came and worked on the fan changing the connection from the wall switch totally over to the remote. However, after he left the fan continued to shut off and randomly change speeds. I called Young Electric again and the receiptionist said she would talk to Alex. Young Electric called said Alex believes the remote kit needs replaced. Alex came back on July 7th, said they didn't carry remote kits and he would have to go to the box stores to purchase one, charging me for the entire time he spent traveling and shopping. I explained I could shop for one and would have done so if they had let me know they didn't have the needed item to do the job. Alex was at the house for 10 minutes. He returned on July 11th and installed the remote kit. However, he said his boss Corey told him he needed to bill me for a full hour of work ($90 per hour) for July 7th, but would take off the $35 trip fee charge. He also charged me for the trip fee and one hour of service for Jully 11th, for a total of $212.25 plus the previously paid bill of $122.25 on June 22nd. A total of $334.50 to replace a faulty remote kit in a ceiling fan (not include the cost I paid for the kit). I was informed nothing Young Electric did caused the problem so therefore, nothing was under any warranty of service from any of the previous appointments. I pointed out they didn't fix the issue they were called out to repair the first or second time they came. I stated Corey, owner of the company, sent Alex out to my home on July 7th, knowing the remote kit needed replaced, since Alex had told them. However, he was sent knowlingly without the equipment to complete the job. Young Electric expected the customer to pay additional billing hours while the electrician shopped for the item. I wrote on the invoice that customer requests a phone call to discuss billing and service and told Alex to inform the owner. To date Corey has made no effort to follow up. He has however, cashed my check. His unethical business practices and lack of response has lost me as a customer. Additionally, I work as a realtor and have clients request referrals for services such as electricians. I will be sure to notify my clients as well as my team of other realtors not to use Young Electric in the future. Sorry Alex. Hope you find a better company to work for.

I needed 220 added to my garage and live in a concrete house. These guys came out and did a fabulous job getting electric from one end of my house in the basement to the other side of the house out to the garage. They were fast, friendly, and the price was very reasonable! Highly Recommended!!!
