They are always going the extra mile to help out. I have always been more the happy with the service I receive. The work is always explained and is to notch.

My bonus son is attending college at Friends University from out of state. The first week of arriving in Kansas, he started having some issues with his low beam lights malfunctioning and we needed it taken care of immediately. Yost Auto Service went above and beyond their call of duty to take care of him. I am very grateful that we now have a place that we can rely on for future issues that might occur. Thank you, Yost, for the top notch service!

Car deposited on May 7th, 2019 for repair of exhaust cam solenoid. Company diagnosed multiple issues with car and charged diagnostic fee when I chose not to have those issues repaired. The car worked fine but I wanted to remove the check engine light. When I picked up the car it was immediately noticeable that it was not functioning well. I attempted to resolve with the business multiple times including a desire for them to repair the issues they introduced and then when they refused. I had to go to another mechanic to resolve, they chose not to pay the fees of that resolution nor issue an apology. I am frustrated that a working vehicle was introduced to the shop and a basic test to determine functionality of the vehicle was not performed and followed up with lack of desire to remedy the situation. It went to the point that I filed a BBB complaint that they downright lied into and posted other customer's information along with "after the fact handwritten notes" in to corroborate their deceit.

Yost is incredible for many reasons, but the reasons they are top notch to me are as follows: 1. Ever discover a foul stench in your vehicle? Well Yost has the strongest stomachs to deal with even the most foul of stenches (in my case a turkey log). They stayed in contact providing me constant updates throughout the mess during the heat of the summer to resolve the stench. 2. They were able to squeeze in a friend of mine (who was driving cross country) to do a quick fix before they continued their journey. 3. They are all around a great company to work with and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new auto service shop!

My entire family trust all of our vehicles to Yost. Very honest people with the best customer service and knowledgeable staff. They know you by name and treat you like family.

Honest and efficient, as long as I live in Wichita, I will never take my car to another mechanic. They are always personable, and have the highest of integrity. They clearly prioritize taking care of their employees and customers well, and that makes them top notch.

I am extremely disappointed and disgusted with this place. They acted like the stereotypical mechanics who try to scam you and are the reason people are scared to go to the mechanic. My brothers 04 accord has a minor head gasket leak which we are aware of and have just taken temporary measures to fix as the car is just a beater anyways. All my brother took the car in for was a coolant flush and refill (as this unfortunately needs to be done once every few months with the head gasket issue). When he took it in they pointed out that there was some sealant in the radiator, which we were aware of and that it could come out during the flush. Fine no problem just flush it and fill it up, can always add more sealant later. But nope, they decided to start hassling my brother (who doesn't know cars) and started to pull all the spark plugs and tell him how bad the head gasket was and that it wouldn't keep driving and he needed to shell $3,000 out ASAP to fix it. They then got in the car and cranked it WITH NO SPARK PLUGS, to try and trick him into thinking the car won't run anymore. This is the point my brother reached out to me and sent me a picture of the "4 things they removed from my engine". All of the plugs. I told him toDemand them to IMMEDIATELY put them back in and you are going to pay and leave. They THEN told him, that his car might start now but there is a 99% chance it doesn't start or run again afterwards, again trying to scare him. Sure enough they put the spark plugs back in and guess what, car started right up and ran fine. My brother pulled over turned the car off and it turned right back on fine, obviously. I would steer clear of this place by any means necessary ESPECIALLY if you don't know much about cars, as I bet they try to take advantage of people often. Again this place is extremely disappointing, unprofessional and practices poor ethical standards. I wish I didn't live so far or I'd love to go talk to the mechanics in person. I'm just glad my brother brought this to my attention before he was tricked into shelling our thousands for issues that were not present NOR ever asked to be looked at...

Broke a brake line while working on my truck, called them the next morning had it towed there and they had me set up by the end of the day super happy with the turnaround time and they gave me!

I've been coming to Yost for all my car services for over a year and they are consistently professional, honest, and reliable. I also appreciate that they don't push unnecessary services and help you make informed decisions regarding your vehicle. Highly recommend!

Honestly the best car shop in town. I live in Kanas City and will only take my car to Yost. I plan my trips to Wichita around my car appointments. Their integrity, prices and quality of work are so much better than what I've seen in Wichita or Kansas City. To find a place that truly has my best interest at heart is amazing.
