It's closed! Went to check it out driving through Kansas, and the store is completely gone... don't waste your time trying to stop. I'm sooo sad wish it was there

What a wonderful yarn shop! After locating it on Yelp, we stopped during our cross-country trip when I was in desperate need of yarn. What wonderful women- they even kept the store open to wind my purchases. And the yarn is scrumptious. Really. I may need to drive cross-country again just to return to Salina.

On our way thru Kansas stopped at this wonderful yarn shop. Lovely ladies, so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. One lady demonstrated using loop method for knitting socks on one needle. I'm an avid sock knitter and plan on giving it a try. Thanks for a fun experience. I will remember you and my experience as I knit up your yarn!

We were driving across Kansas when I saw a billboard advertising a yarn shop. Billboard? Yarn shop? So we exited the interstate and found the shop. I'm going to sound like everyone else: it was a terrific store with lots of knitted and crocheted samples, wonderful yarns, and the very nicest women who were so helpful and fun to talk to. I spent part of an afternoon there and wished I could have stayed longer, but we had to head home to Idaho. If you're a knitter (or crocheter, I suppose) and you're in Kansas, this is definitely a must stop.

I live in Tempe Arizona and a few years ago a dear friend of mine was traveling for her job and stayed in Salinas for a few days. While she was there she stumbled upon the Yarns Sold and Told yarn store and stopped in because she knows I am a crochet addict. She came back with a big bag of various yarns for me. I have used some of it and decided I wanted to crochet my friend a shawl with some of the yarn she had bought me as she has been there many times for me. Well, I started my project and wasn't too worried about how much yarn I had because I knew I had 2 hanks of this particular yarn...., that was up until I started getting low on the one and went to get the other only to realize it was a different color....ahhhhhA crocheters NIGHTMARE, not only had I thrown the label away but it was bought in Kansas!!!! I asked my friend what the name of the store was and she gave me Yarns Sold and Told and I emailed Marilyn and explained my dilemma. She and I wrote several emails back and forth and finally came to conclusion of what I was using. She was very nice and professional and offered to send me out what I needed and even offered to roll the yarn into cakes for me. I wasn't able to call her right that moment to place order,so Marilyn gave me another lady's name Connie Jo who could help me today and when I called to speak with Miss Connie, I was yet again pleased with her professionalism as well and was assured she would get my yarn out in the mail today. I am super impressed with the staff and their professionalism and wanted the world to know if you are ever in Salinas Kansas and need a place to buy yarn, please stop in and give these awesome ladies a shout out from me in Arizona.....THANK YOU again!!!!Linda
