Yada Thai Restaurant

Found this delightful Thai restaurant on Facebook and so happy I did! I'm from California looking to transplant here to Coldwater, KS and am excited to find authentic Thai food! The restaurant is very clean and sweetly decorated. The hostess/waitress was a wonderful young girl that was very attentive. We ordered the crab rangoons, egg drop soup, chicken satay, chicken yellow curry, orange chicken, and Thai fried rice. I cannot tell you how delicious every single item was! It was refreshing to eat and very flavorful! Thank you for bringing your delicious food to Kansas! It was amazing!!

The best food ever! We are so lucky to have such a high quality specialty restaurant in our small community.

We dined here 5 months ago since then it has changed hands. Can't express my disappointment. I order the cashew nut with chicken and fried rice. Tasted like watered down soy sauce with no flavor just heat. Meal was served in take out containers with plastic forks. My husband had General Saos chicken he said it tasted like frozen popcorn chicken. We also ordered potstickers and crab Rangoon's. I have had better from the frozen food section in the grocery store. Our server was very nice. When she saw I wasn't eating my meal she saw that the charge was taken off. We were traveling and especially stopped in Kinsley Ks to eat at this restaurant. So very disappointed.

I am from CA originally, and I have been in fine dining and hospitality for many years. I have eaten at many amazing restaurants in my lifetime. That being said, this was hands down one of the best Thai meals I have ever had. Every item I tried was absolutely exceptional, and extremely traditional. Real Thai food, beautifully presented, with incredible service and a wonderfully, genuinely friendly staff. I wish I could give 10 stars. This is a hidden gem, indeed. It will not disappoint.

We planned to stop for lunch based on other Yelp reviews. It definitely isn't impressive upon entering, but the food and the service were excellent! We were the only customers in the restaurant on a Saturday at noon, but locals came in frequently for carry-out orders. They seem to do a decent business in this small town during Covid.
