This is a nice winery. They have many fruit wines, and they have a few of more full-bodied wines too. They give you 5 free tastes and after that you need to buy. First I tasted Lady Pearl, which is a sweet wine with a strawberry finish. Then I tried the Red Dirt Rose, which right now they have packaged as Rudolph Rose with a picture of Rudolph in it. This is such a cute idea and would make a nice Christmas present. I tried the Elderberry Spice, which is a mulled wine, best served warm for a cold winter's night. I wanted to break into a Christmas song. You can throw it in a crock pot and people will think you've been cooking it all day. They also have an adorable gift shop and I had to buy a magnet. I saw they do private tours and when I asked it's about 2 hours and you tour the winery, drink wine and even have a light repast for $25 a person.Good stop just south of Wichita!

The wine was good but the lady named Beth was so cold and unfriendly. I have wanted to stop here for years and finally did. The elderberry concentrate is worth stopping for but oh the unfriendly lady ruined it for me. Prob wont stop again. Loved the dry reserve red wine- but need better personalities here

Call me spoiled by wineries on the east and west coasts. I went for one of their free tastings. It's a woman pouring a bit of wine into your glass that you pick. No tasting notes. No order at which the wines you'd like to taste presented (reds first , then sweet red, then dry whites to sweet whites to dessert or fruit wines).Just bizarre. I mean, they sell wine. But they don't do it with any panache. At all. No customer experience to speak of. You can buy a wine glass from here and of course bottles of wine. Also, no food for sale here. No baguettes or cheese or meats to eat with your wine. Though they let you bring your own food to eat there with your wine. There are a few tables to sit at. I wonder if this place is busy at all on Friday or Saturday evenings?I bought wine bottles from them. The wines are okay. Not fantastic. This is probably because we are in Kansas and not near any body of water. Oh, and the vineyard is on flat ground, not on a hill so water can run off easily. Basically, a basic vineyard. Nothing to write home about. Again, I'm spoiled by the rich Virginia wine country and Virginia wines. And Oregon wines and Pennsylvania wines.

Love this place, have used both locations before when I was shopping for my wedding wine and the service was great! Loved the pairings they recommended and still cannot get enough of their spiced wine!

Saw their sign from I-35. Five free wine samples. Jeeves greeted us at the door in his festive 4th of July garb. Just ok wines, in my opinion. The red reserve was the best. 15% abv. I would have given another star had the server been more personable. I then may have felt obligated to purchase something.

Stopped here on a road trip. We drink a lot of wine and visit wineries alllll over. This one was a big fail.Staff acted like we were bothering them by coming in to taste and purchase wines. Very sour attitude. Didn't explain wines, tastings, nada. We tasted a few wines and she sorta defrosted a teeeeny bit. Wines were meh. We did buy a jalapeño wine because of its novelty and some ideas we had for food/drink pairing. If anyone wants to give Wyldewood some competition they could use it to be taken down a peg. We don't act like that in Texas. The best decision we made was to drive up the road to Norton brewery in town for our trip to be redeemed!

I stopped by here heading out of Wichita. It was a nice little relief to the 100 degree weather the day brought. I have to preface that I am not a wine expert. But I do enjoy wine. I have been to a few other wineries and this one was just as lovely as the rest. I must also say that the woman who checked us out was not overly friendly. So I am glad she did not do the wine samplings for us. We thankfully had the other more chatty woman helping us, and she was super friendly and helpful. She enjoyed her job and made the experience a good one. I can see where, if the other woman was the sole service representative, that people would not have had a nice experience. And that's a shame. Because I enjoyed the wine and left with a few bottles.

Nice little place. Had several choices of wines and other stuff. Several pepper jellies and odds and ends for wine. I grabbed a few wine glasses and several bottles of wine. I tasted some while there and the peach was very pleasant.

A little slow on the greeting and offering a wine tasting. Once we got started, Erin was helpful and knowledgeable. Able to answer our questions. We weren't familiar with the benefits of elderberry, so we learned more from Erin. Tasted a nice variety. Not all on the list were available. Bought a case. We'll be back for another tasting and purchase soon.
