Annie you're total bitch! My mother and I were driving through and wanted to finish our leftover bbq meal from kc and were anticipating staying the night. As we sat there less than 10 mins, a woman holding a cigarette started banging on my mother's car window asking if we were planning on getting a room. I said we're not sure yet. She replied "well if you're not, then you cannot be on the property" Keep in mind the parking lot is half empty in the middle of butt fucking Kansas. Annie, your attitude sucks and we'll look for accommodations elsewhere.Have you ever seen Allison Janney's performance in "I Tonya".... this is Annie!

Had a house fire locally and set it up to stay here for a bit with the insurance company. They gave us nothing but trouble, and the manager and employees were the worst people i've ever talked to in a service capacity. Absolutely callous and awful. Annie, the manager, told us to find another motel because she didn't trust the insurance company, the company is state farm...

Annie, the Manager, is by far the rudest and most unprofessional hotel staff I've ever experienced. She appeared exasperated and put out the second I walked in based on her loudly sighing and rolling her eyes. If it wasn't for the car trouble, I would have drove to any other nearby town and stayed there. Setting up a tent on the side of the highway would have been more welcoming.

I feel obliged to write a review given the lack of reviews and my having stayed here at least a half dozen times over the past 5 years.I can see why a lot of people would have little regard for this hotel. No pool, no attached restaurant, no bar, no nothing extra attached. There's only two gas stations nearby, two fast food places (subway/wendys), and one sit-down restaurant. That's it.But that's kind of why I like it. As someone who has had his car stolen at a hotel one time, I like staying at a place like this. It's in the middle of nowhere, so there just aren't hooligans around who might randomly decide to do something annoying. But they still have all sorts of cameras around the place to deter crime, just in case a hooligan passes through. The fact that this isn't a recognizable chain hotel means the ignorant, illiterate, thieving, poverty-stricken savages likely won't recognize this as a hotel and will pass it by.It doesn't look like this place is going run out of occupancy, and it is saturday night. Almost half of the vehicles parked around the building are trucks towing boats. (Must be a lake nearby) There might be some big-rig drivers staying here though for all I know, since the truck stop is next door and a number of trucks are just parked nearby. But they might just be sleeping in their cabs.So I thought I'd leave a review, so the place gets a fair review lauding its merits.

Zero stars. I was driving through Kansas, headed home after several days of long work meetings. Was getting tired and nearly fell asleep on the highway. Pulled over to catch a quick cat nap before I hopped back on the road. Dozed off and not less than 10 minutes later I was awoke by a loud banging on the window. It was a woman whom I assume owned the hotel. She very rudely instructed me that I would need to purchase a hotel room for the night if wanted to take a quick nap in her parking lot. Please know I was the only car there, in a lot of around 50 empty spaces. Also know that I am a highly educated executive that certainly gave no negative impressions to her prospective customers (not that there were any). I simply wanted to avoid falling asleep behind the wheel. Merry Christmas lady.
