You have to get into this place. Was going to be in town during dinner time so looked up meatloaf and this place delivered a huge delicious chunk of meatloaf with REAL mashed potatoes and toasted bread and a side salad or soup for $11.99. The lady who sat us and brought our food out was very nice and super efficient. Neat little place in an old gas station. I also had a cup of chili and it was very good with some kick. I'll be back to try some of the other things on the menu. Like I said get in here.

Come support this amazing family owned restaurant in Baldwin! Hands down, the best prime rib in the region, and a good value for the price. Yesterday, my fiancé and I hosted a small family gathering at the nearby Lumberyard Arts Center, and catered a prime rib lunch from Wooden Spoke. Everything was cooked to perfection, with medium rare, medium, and medium well options. The sides of salad, baked potatoes, and buns were great too. I'd highly recommend this place both for family dinner or catering of larger events. The restaurant moved to a former gas station a few years back. It's quite small, and gets busy on weekends, so be sure to arrive early if you want a seat (they don't take reservations, but you can call and find out if they are busy). Also, the prime rib is only available on Fridays and Saturdays (their other food is great as well!). And they are closed on Mondays.

The waitress was very attentive and helpful and the fries were fresh and hot, but that's the only good thing I can say. I had a Rueben sandwich with a side of fries. The bread was soggy, it lacked enough sauerkraut and dressing. This place has potential and I'm sure the locals love it but these uninvited guests (ants) at our table and the fact the place just wasn't very clean had us leaving before we finished our meal.

Today 2nd time here for lunch. First time pork tenderloin sandwich great taste and so large I brought half home. Today lunch again I ordered the roast beef sandwich. One of the best I have had. Not much of a place to look at but food and service was great

Love the hometown atmosphere, and food! Love their chicken fried steak! They make a great steak!!! Make sure you check out their hours though... They're only open during lunch, dinner, and closed in between...
