Dingy and non smoking room smelt like cigarettes which was really nasty. The worst part though was the black mold on the bathroom ceiling. The town was quite full with a couple of activities taking place so finding a different motel room was not possible. When we talked to the desk clerk and showed him pictures of our room he acted very surprised and offered us 15% off our NEXT stay. I had to laugh because there will be NO next stay for us and I let him know I would write a review. I suggest choosing a different motel.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We only stayed here because they are advertised as "pet friendly ", and my wife and I were traveling in 2 dogs. The hallways, entryways and room was filthy! I'm attaching a couple of pictures of trash in the hallway that remained for 2 days, and the stain on one of the room chairs. In addition, there was a tornado watch the night we stayed. Not a warning, but a WATCH, which means conditions are very favorable for a tornado. When I asked the manager/owner where the shelter was located, he told me they didn't have a shelter, and if a tornado did hit, that I should "call the police and ask them." What?? On the plus side, the tv worked.

Great for super low price of 50 dollars. No amenities due to pandemic (assuming) but nice bed and clean bathroom. All you really need. Some stains here and there, tears on curtain, but it seems well taken care of.

We had a great room at $40.00. They don't serve breakfast right now, hence the discount on the room, but the bed was comfy and the pillows even more so. Welcoming staff-it's in transition, and for sale, but for the price, it was all that we wanted and more. Thanks so much for a good night's sleep!

Greaaaaaaat service.First time i got a room with two floors. Pretty unique. Drawback is bathroom on first floor.The upstairs room is large.The tv is small.Also has a desk and chair with foot rest. Comfortably fits 5-6. Bottom floor is quaint. The sofa was broken so my buddy slept on the floor.Bathtub is sauna size and water pours nicely to wash up after a 22 hour drive.Price - $100 with no reservation.

I travel and stay in a fair amount of hotels. This was by far the Worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. Traveling from Kansas City to attend a funeral, I stopped into the town I grew up in, to sleep a little before heading to Colorado the next day. Rolling into town (12:30am) I called ahead to reserve a room. I show up to be "greeted" by a child. I informed him I had called 15 minutes prior for a room. He asked for a card and ID, which is typical. It's late, he asked about my being from dodge (the ID I handed him was still a dodge ID). I said, I am originally am from here. Then he proceeded asked why I was staying there. The tone seemed odd and very personal so I asked, "does it matter?" Which then this child, rudely informed me that "it was policy to ask" as if I somehow know what their silly policies are, or more, that I even cared. That's fine. It's your policy. I informed him that I was there for a funeral. Which then he accused me of having some sort of attitude then proceeded to say, "do you want to do this the hard way!?" Yeah, I know, crazy, right?!? Super unprofessional and extremely rude, considering why I was here. In shock, I asked him, "what exactly is the hard way?" He proceed to attempt to speak down to me. But before I let myself lose my cool, I simply informed him there are tons of hotels here. I asked for my ID and cc back and walked next door to the La Quinta where I was greeted by an adult and promptly given my room key. I don't know who's parents were punishing their kid by making him work front desk of a hotel on Saturday night but I will tell you that your kid is a rude disrespectful piece of garbage and I blame you. From the rest of your reviews it seems that who ever owns or manages this place is probably a piece of garbage as well. Teach your kid some common manners.Whoever reads this. DO.NOT.STAY.HERE. It is ran by disrespectful children.

In all my years of travel this was the most bizzare place I v stayed...the owner and management are the must unprofessional people I have met in regards to housing. We are currently working a state run project and decided to use this hotel as a base of operation for a couple weeks. Its a bit run down but honestly its not uncommon for this portion of the country. We rented 4 rooms. It went well for about 3 days. Then thinks started gettin weird. My daughter was denied access to her room... she btw has an infant and 3 yr traveling with her. Her fiance is one of our teches. So they said the rm wasnt paid for. Manager didnt want to give her a key to get her wallet to make payment. Finally he did. There wasnt very many people staying here and one of the guys parked in a truck spot there are about 12 spots not in use... no signs stating trucks only. Parked there for a few days. Late one night he calls my daughters rm and starts screaming at them about the van being parked there. They said it wasnt theirs but they would figure it out and get it moved. The guy that owned the van went down apoligized said he didnt know and would move it. The manager/owner was wasted reaked of alcohol. He said that kind of stupity was why he was gonna call the police and kick us all out. The guys get upset and start arguing with the manager/Owner...apparently some mail had come also and he threw it at my daughters fiance. Said he was gonna call the police. We still dont even know why! When the crew chief asked the next day about it...he said your kicking us all out over a parking spot? Yes he said thats the kind of mentality that the guy laat night used and yes check out by 11 the police will be here to see you out. He was like are you kidding me? He said noI am not. They were here last night and were gonna kick my daughters door down but they didnt want to have to replace it. Crew chief was like you know there are 2 small children in that rm and the cops would have knocked if they had questions. The manager then said you never asked us if you could have women and children here and she keeps bothering me....this is long but I would hate for anyone to be mislead and stay here not knowing how bizarre these folkes are. We trully have no idea why we were targeted or if perhaps there is some sort of an illegal operation going on here...it looks inocent enough but to get rid of 4 rms rented for a couple weeksthis month is odd. There are other places to stay in Dodge City or Garden City has a ton more to do. End rant! If you do decide to wing it just be safe and push the interior chain lock so they cant come in while you sleep.

The location is great, right as we drove into town. The check in was quick and simple......but then it went down hill from there.We quickly found out that the pool and spa were out of order; which was what we had been waiting for all day.Once in the room when we tried to call the front desk, we found the phones didn't work and neither did the TV. Our toilet backed up and when I went to ask for help, the guy said, "here is the plunger. Good luck!" I am giving this a 1, because I cannot go any lower. Quite possibly my worst hotel experience ever.

Average in every way. It's clean enough, location is decent and price is fair. My biggest problem is that I couldn't reserve with a credit card and pay by other means. At every place I've ever stayed I can usually pay cash or debit card. I do this keep track of vacation spending etc. They charge your credit card that you booked with at check in. I think they would have allowed me to pay with a different card but the desk clerk was so bothered by having to work, it wasn't worth the hassle. I'll just stay at the Super 8 next time.

Dirty. Tub would not drain. Ceiling plaster falling on the floor. I was so glad we were only sleeping there one night. Not good.
