I used to recommend Wilhite's but recently I took my 2017 in there for a diagnostic but they informed me that they do not have the equipment for anything newer than 2013. Evidently they are satisfied working older cars. So I will go elsewhere.

Sadly after more years than I can count Wilhite's is no longer my go to shop. A few months ago I took my car there because it was not running properly. $300 later it ran fine for about twelve hours. I was out of money so I asked a mechanically inclined buddy to check it out and he immediately saw that my spark plug wires were not attached. Something Wilhite's should have easily found. Whether it was laziness or lack of common sense I found myself questioning their work. However recently when my car again had an issue I decided to check with them first, thinking perhaps it was a fluke. I was greeted with a "yeah?" when the mechanic walked up (not the owner). After I explained the problem he said we don't do that here, call someone else. Sad thing is I know that they could have done the easy repair, the guy was just being a jerk. I took my first car to Wilhite's and my parents have known Tom (the owner) for years. They lost my money and I will never recommend them to another person again. That shop has majorly gone down hill.

Took my 1969 Ford this Guy to get a diagnostic on it and to find out how much it would cost for repairs. Was told they would do the diagnostic and that's all I would have to pay for but instead they kept the truck for a week did repairs and then called us and told us to come in with $1500 after already given them $400 to get my truck. After the fact He told us that he Wouldn't do a diagnostic and not fix something. Basically said once he tears it down, he is going to fix something. I Told them on multiple occasions we needed to know how much it was going to cost upfront to even see if we could afford fixing the truck. After questioning Tom the owner he said that's not the way I do business if it's broke, I fix it. I bill you. . He currently has our 1969 truck locked in his shop Holding it for ransom and said he will not give it back until we pay him in full and If not he will put a mechanics lien against it. He said If I try to come and get it, he said he will call the law and report it is stolen. This guy is an asshole. I do not recommend taking your vehicle to this guy, you may not Get it back. FYI, I've been carrying that truck around for over 30 years in the military To give to my son that's in the Navy just for one guy, Tom, and this business to steal it because they know he didn't have $1500 to pay for the truck. What a piece of work he is to take advantage Of a situation not to mention two veterans. I hope he gets blacklisted from all military.

If i could rate this no stars I would. I took my firebird in for a simple tune up on the carburetor. I figured since wilhite is known for being a pontiac guy he would be able to fix the car with no problems. Not only did they charge me a arm and a leg but they cracked the paint on the rubber front end of the firebird and the car only ran normal for a few days. I would NOT recommend if you need help with you car!also one of the mechanics is a real dick and should not be aloud near the front desk with his customer service skills.

Tom and Mike are fair, honest, and willing to work on anything. They are the only ones that touch my 5 antique/unique vehicles.
