Really great company! They saved my floors!! I bought an old house that had worn wood floors, terribly scratched and stained. It did not look good at all. Family recommendation led us here. Really great prices for the quality of work they do. And fast. I went by the store and it's beautiful inside! Awesome big Wichita flag in the floor! How cool! Super nice staff and an ease to deal with. They did all of my flooring in that home and it made the house 100x better! I will forever recommend this company!!!The store is off Douglas & Hillside by the crown uptown. There is parking in the back. Locally owned!!!

Best customer care, product quality, and product delivery by a truly local family run business (not an overpriced franchise owned by someone from out of town). From my first phone call the very professional staff at Wichita Wood Floor Specialists made everything right. The free estimate was on-time and professional. The detailed explanation of what was possible, coupled with a spot on color recommendation, made my expectations realistic. This certainly avoided disappointment later (I.e., they did not over promise and under deliver!). The company's flexibility ensured we got the job done within my tight schedule (amidst an international move, hotel living, and furniture delivery). Did I mention very fair pricing - the work was done within industry standard pricing, and my budget - there where NO hidden or unexpected charges (very competitive pricing, especially given their 5-star quality). The Craftsman (and I will call him a true Craftsman) delivered an excellent product - I would call his work craft with artistic subtlety; I had 1939 white oak floors refinished - they are simply beautiful. Finally, after all was done, the staff provided expert advice on care and maintenance. All-in-all a job well done far beyond my expectations. Professionals from start to finish! They are a hard working family that takes care of both their clients and their employees. Having floors refinished is a monumental task involving timing of movers etc. it's not something easily rescheduled, but we cannot control snowstorms. I was amazed with how the company protected their employees, but also took care of us as well. Chance and Landon (our crew), sent us pictures and kept us abreast of the progress every step of the way! We are very happy with the results! My floors feel like butter, they are so smooth!

They did a great job refinishing all of our floors in our older home with original floors built in 1920. This included refinishing the stair risers and treads. They did exactly what they promised and showed and completed the floors right on time. All of the staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I couldn't be happier with the service they provided.
