We had gone to 5 different dealerships before going out to Wichita RV East. There we met Gene, our salesman, and we felt like he wasn't trying to sell us dirt. He was very honest and told us exactly what they would do for us without overselling the RV. When picking up our RV, someone walked us around the entire RV and made sure that we understood how the entire thing worked. They also allowed us to walk around and ask any questions we had. After going around they discussed a few things that they would recommend we added to our rv, but told us that we could probably do that ourselves. This dealership was very honest and made sure that we felt welcome to go there with any questions we may have. They also provided us with many starter items. It was so great to not have to go out to buy the basics!

Initially, this was a great experience. We found a used 5th wheel. After extensive research we decided to make a $19,000 purchase on the condition that a couple of things were repaired. We added some accessories and at closing were assured that the noted repairs were completed.Working out of town we paid them to deliver the unit to us. Upon arrival we found the repairs were not done, but the extras were installed. Upon contacting them they assured us they would get thee repairs completed by third party. They contacted a third party and left it to us to get the problem resolved. Once the repairman notified them that replacement of the broken part (shower enclosure, which completely came apart) would be needed they quit taking/ returning repeated calls and requests for repairs. They have now taken the position that the repairs would have to be done at their facility and to " bring it by"... I would not recommend doing business with this dealership as they have no integrity. They do not do what they say. I am now stuck working out of town, living in a RV that has a shower enclosure in pieces. If I hadn't been assured that repairs were made prior to handing them payment I wouldn't think allot about it. If I hadn't been assured they would get the repairs completed on sight I wouldn't think allot about it. If I hadn't been treated with absolute run around and eventual disrespect I wouldn't have thought allot about it.Think twice before you buy from this dealership. If there were less than a "1" rating they would have gotten it.

We had an incident occur with our RV on our road trip. We called and spoke with Sean. They were lifesavers and helped us get the problem resolved and had us back on the road in no time. They were very hospitable as we waited. You really couldn't ask for better customer service! Highly recommend!

Two stars is generous. These guys are great at the sales but don't expect any service, or follow up from them at all. Our 5th wheel has been in their shop for 4 months now getting major repairs done under warranty (we bought it there in Feb2018). We hear nothing from them and when you call to check in where things are you get different stories depending on who you talk to. I say take a pass on these guys and go somewhere else. Our saga isn't over yet and we may end up in court before it's over

My family owned Wichita RV for the last 20+ years. In 2020 my mother, Mary K. Algrim died, and in 2023 my dad, A. Kent Algrim was murdered. Less than 1 year later Wichita RV had to be closed because the ganeral manger, Dale Fischer, after being trained to take over for 10+ years, decided he would rather take the money and run. This man whom my father trusted implicitly, in less than 1 years time, gutted my family's business. He didn't pay any taxes, not even payroll taxes. He sold units and pocketed the money, didn't even pay the financing company. He, and several others who worked there, paid thousands of dollars for personal items with the company credit card. The Shop Manager died from a heart attack due to being convinced he would be going back to prison as soon as someone found out about the "other" bank account where Dale was funneling checks made out to Wichita RV and using it to pay for personal items for himself and other employees. Wichita RV closed the doors because there was zero money in the bank. He couldn't even make the final payroll checks, the account was over drawn. My severly disabled brother & I used the money our Mother left us to pay the final payroll amounts. The property that Wichita RV was on has been sold to a very nice man from Nebraska. He will be opening another RV store in that location. If you ever meet Dale Fischer ask him how it feels to rob elderly people, disabled people, and customers who trusted him. Ask him how it feels to be responsible for the shop managers death, a man whom he said was like a brother to him.

We had a severe problem with wheel bearings on a late Friday afternoon but fortunately my wife called Witchita RV East and they committed to getting us back on road on Sat if I could get there by 9. So we limped into Witchita and made it the next morning. They had me out and on the road again by noon. I'm very grateful for the extra effort they made to get us going as waiting a week for the Ford dealer would have been awful way to end our 2 mo road trip (back home to PHX)Give them a call if you want a business that seems to really care about people. Thanks again you guys!

We bought a 2023 wildwood in Feb and told them of the problems with it.Mitch said they would fix them before we pick it up. We plan on picking it up 3 weeks later the work never was done. That was lie 2. The 1st one was we ask if it had asdel siding they said yes that was a lie. Then they charge us for warranty work. Forestriver paid them 1200 dollars for the work now they said they would pay us back for the work They got fromForestriver 1200 dollars but they only paid 788.14. So now lie 3. We make 4 trip to get the same work done . It was never done. They also needed to replace a seal that was never done and the charge forest river. Please don't buy or have them do any work. They will lie and steal from you.

If possible I would give this place a minus 5 stars! We have a couple of mishaps with our RV and needed a patch on the front passengers cap and a new RV. We were given the Wichita RV east shop name by the insurance company. After meeting with the personel at the shop, presenting the insurance report and discussing the repair, we decided to use the shop. After waiting 2-3 months we contacted the insurance representitive. A date for us to take the rig to the shop. Again after waiting another 1 to 2 months we checked to see if anything had been done and were to they were "waiting on a bay to empty". Finally the repair was completed. However when we went to pick up the rig we noticed the awning was 2 feet short on both ends. After WE pointed this out to management, we were told they had ordered several awnings and "this was the best fit so we put it on." We, of course , did not want a short awning! Neither the insurance no the shop wanted to pay to replace the awning with on that was the correct length (even though the Wichita East RV had available awning material that could be cut to fit. Because they did not call us to see if we wanted an awning that was the correct length but a different material and with pressure from the insurance company, they finally did the right thing and paid to put the correct length awning on the rig. Had the problems with this shop ended there I would not be writing this review! When we finally picked up the rig, we tried to put the awning out. It went out fast and took forever to return. Both the "awning specialist"who put it on and the manager told us we needed a new motor! We then took it to Camping World were they told us the mechinism that extended and retracted the awning was put on BACKWARD!!! Wichita East would not re-emburse us for their mistake!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!!!

We purchased a new 2020 5th wheel in Texas and it needed warranty work for a water tank that fell out. Since the drive was 7 hours to the place we bought it, it was recommended to take it to Wichita RV East. They said upfront it would be no problem as they delay with all kinds of warranty work. 6 months after taking it in, they had not finished the work. Since they had it during the winter months, we asked that they winterize it and paid for it to be winterized. In March 2022, they said the repairs were finished and so we took the camper on a trip.We found out that repairs were NOT finished and that they HAD NOT winterized it, there was no fresh water tank in it and ALL pipes to every faucet were broken. We were 14 hours away from home when this happened! My husband spent 4 days of this trip fixing things to get it back home. Dan, the service manager acted shocked that this happened and that he had no idea this was not fixed! The GM, Dale, and Dan, the service manager asked for a second chance, with the preface of "we can't make it right if you don't let us try." We said we would give them 30days and took the camper back in on March 25, 2022. Today is May 31,2022. The washer and dryer is not fixed, after being told last week it was fixed. And tje appliances is are not even in the camper. The water tank is still not in and we have picked up the camper unfixed! The associates would not let me speak to the General manager today when I went in to get the washer and dryer, saying he was not in, when the light to his office was on. They told me out loud that I was a very rude person and asked me why I didn't just take it back to where I bought it in the first place. They also said they never told me the camper was fixed, which is a straight out lie. And to top that off, another associate smirked at comments that Dan made to me as if I was stupid. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!
