UPDATE: I had a long discussion with Dr. Sandid's scheduler and cleared up our misunderstanding. With my demanding business schedule I always try to get my appointments well in advance and minimize any changes on my part. I have always had stellar service and this misunderstanding was an anomaly. Going forward, I will give the scheduler the benefit of the doubt and maintain an open line of communication to circumvent this recurring. Dr. Sandid's bedside manner and patient care is among the best I have ever experienced to include the Bethesda Naval Medical Center (where the President, Senators and Congressmen go) and the University of Kansas Medical Center that were previously my primary care medical facilities.
