Wichita Inn

We stayed here one night. Late arrival and early departure. Front desk was pleasant. Room was clean,beds comfortable.I probably wouldn't stay for extended period of time but just to crash for a few hours is good.

great option if you're trying to save money! VERY clean, kind staff, decent wifi. breakfast is not great but definitely sufficient. Sort of a strange location because of the elevated highway but very close to my grandpa's house on Hiram. My family stays here every time we come to Wichita. no real complaints :)

Decent price , clean rooms, good hot water in shower. Glad we took a chance and tried it.

I would recommend this place as a very good budget option. It drove me nuts that they had ethernet instead of wifi because I couldn't be online in bed, but I don't think that most folks would really mind. Every part of it was very, very clean, the toiletries smelled nice, nothing seemed too old or run-down, no bugs.The fitness center is nothing fancy--no weights or anything--but it has a working treadmill, elliptical, and recumbent bike in front of a huge flatscreen, so I was glad to have it. The free breakfast was just a bit scarier than the usual fare--pink glazed donuts were involved, but even worse was Fox News on the TV in the dining room--but I managed to snatch a yogurt (sugary but still) and a tomato juice each morning. If you're a foodie or health type, I would probably come more prepared. I loved the fact that the room had a little fridge/freezer. And, it was hotter than hell when I was in Wichita, and the AC rocked. It's kind of convenient and kind of not. It's right near Kellogg, which is good for getting all over town from, but it's also a bit strange to know when to turn off, so study the map in advance.

Very nice place to stay. Clean, quiet and great price. Located on hwy 54. Don't waste your time looking at anything else. I've spent over 4,000 nights in hotels and will be back here.
