Wichita Furniture & Mattress

We have purchased from Wichita Furniture and mattress several times over the years. Eli helped us with our recent purchase. Eli is easy to talk with and really helped us pick out the best furniture. We definitely will buy from them again!

I thought Peter Chinn was an excellent sales rep. He knows his business and was not pushy he explained mattresses in depth... I was very impressed with his courtesy and patience with me and my wife. He knows his stuff!

Good priced furniture and helpful sales people really sold me on this place.Came on Saturday, May 14, looking for a couch and a bed. An older man named John helped me out. He wasn't pushy, he let me look for a good hour and never really forced any one item upon me. I kinda rambled on about things, but he didn't roll his eyes or feel like I was wasting his time. He was knowledgable and was pleasant to be around.John was so helpful, I came back on Monday and added a dresser and table set to my order. He remembered me and remember about my trip I had taken the day before. The delivery was scheduled for Tuesday, May 17, and Charles and Chris were efficient and very polite. They came in and got it done within 30 minutes. The whole set up and everything. I was surprised they even put the rails up for the bed and everything. I bought the rails separately, so I was surprised. I really liked how you could use your phone number or invoice number to track the truck and where your order is since they give you a 2 hour window to win it's going to be delivered. An entire living room and bed room set done in 30 minutes, I applaud their speed and efficiency. While I'm giving it 5 stars, I will say I don't like the following around of some of the sales people. When I came back to show the wife what I had bought, many followed us around after we had already told them we were just looking at what we had already purchased. John, Chris, and Charles were great. Those three will bring me back again.

A pleasant buying experience- would highly recommend-nice not pushy sales help- had to order the 2 recliners but store called when they were ready to deliver- very EZ process- call and and also email you for delivery time- guys were on time and also call bout 30 min before they arrive- they set it all up and left- I was missing a cord for one of our power recliners- delivery guy contacted Brian and he brought it out in 20 minutes- Excellent customer service so far- also the girls that answer the phone there are very skilled in how to answer the phone- will definitely go back there to buy more furniture and accessories- now we wont feel so bad when we make the monthly payments-altho we got 2 yrs no interest

You can spend all the money you want at this place, but they won't haul away the old product! What am I to do with the old stuff? Thats why I am replacing it, IT"S OLD! NO SALE FOR THEM!

Do not go to this place. We were shopping for a bookshelf and Brenden the salesperson showed us several and we picked out one that we liked. The price was $439. It was not cheap. I asked him directly if this was a kit or something that is ready to be taken out of the box and set on the floor. He said it was not a kit. I also asked him if it was solid wood and he said it was solid wood. I asked him to look it up, so he did and found out that it did have some engineered wood in it. He then tried to sell us on paying $150 for delivery where they put it where you want it and dispose of the trash. I opted for free basic delivery where they just set the box inside the door. When I opened the box, I found out that it was indeed a kit. I was angry to find that he had lied to us about it not being a kit, but my wife liked it, so I put it together. I spent three and a half hours on a Sunday afternoon putting this thing together. The next day I called the store manager to complain about how Brendon had lied and tried to get some compensation for the whole debacle. His best solution was to give me $20 back.Brendon either doesn't know anything about the products he is selling or he will lie and say whatever he has to in order to sell his crap. The manager offering a measly $20 was and insult for having to spend an entire Sunday afternoon putting this thing together. It appears that he doesn't care about retaining customers or that his salespeople are unethical and will lie to sell their stuff. It seems he must be used to one time only sales and bad reviews.

Sales man did not gave two shits about my order. My sectional came unfinished. I could not give it back to them or order anything instead. Although manager was amazing he could not help me at all. Never buying there again.

I ordered a chair because I'm 6' 8 and it was a special order and the chair came in and was not a big man's chair and they will not backup the order or help me out in any way I'm stuck with the chair that I do not fit in do not go here if you are tall they will not help you there is no chair inside that store that will help you

Customer service from the cashiers is at it's worst. Including the manager. Why would there be a line to check out with 5 women standing and/or sitting including the manager behind the COVID-19 glass?When my complaint went to the manager her response, "ok get in line and we'll help you shortly ". Stupid lady I was being assisted by this time because I walked up to the counter and asked if they were working.
