Wichita Dermatology & Aesthetics

I've been receiving care from Wichita Dermatology and Aesthetics for years, since back when they were still Moeller. I primarily see Sarah Johnson, Dr. Johnson, and occasionally, Christine Curl. I've had numerous procedures, from biopsies to blue light treatment to surgeries for skin cancer, and each provider has always taken excellent care of me. I think I've had over a dozen surgical procedures, including Mohs surgery, and each time, everything is explained thoroughly, and all of my questions are answered. For melanoma surgery, Dr. Johnson refers me to a general surgeon, and I appreciate that he recognizes the complexity of melanoma treatment. Dr. Johnson has also been treating my son, who has a rare genetic disease that can manifest with skin tumors, and he's been very satisfied with his care, as well. Sarah has been especially pivotal in making sure that my skin checks are performed regularly and that any necessary procedures get scheduled and taken care of as soon as possible. She's always so kind and patient, and I appreciate her so much! I also have nothing but great things to say about the nurses and the office staff. Everyone I've interacted with at Wichita Dermatology is friendly and caring. I recommend this practice for any dermatological needs. They go above and beyond for their patients!

I moved to this area a few months ago. I was sad to leave my fantastic dermatologist. But I looked up who uses my healthcare and found this place. Then looked up reviews. All the reviews were good. I am so glad I have a new and very good dermatologist! She is very smart. The staff is super helpful. Everyone is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. It was all a pleasant experience. She even took off 2 suspect moles and had them analyzed. Another year with no skin cancer.

I was very pleased with everything! I finally got answers, a brochure to help further explain what was wrong, and was very pleased with Christine and Angie. I went to the wrong door - I didn't see a sign telling me it was on the other side. That was the only thing that happened, everything else was beyond my expectations. Thank you!

My experience at Moeller Dermatology was exceptionally fine.Very friendly staff, and the patients' comfort is of primary concern at this clinic. Dr. Johnson removed a basal cell lesion from my face today. He explained everything thoroughly before he proceeded; post operative instructions were stated and very concisely written on a page I could take home. I was given a warm blanket with which to cover up, and the nurses treated me as if I was the only person with whom they had to deal today. (Actually, there were at least four others they were "dealing" with today). I was in and out of there in good time. Highly recommend this clinic because of competency, friendliness, and its concern for patient comfort.

Charged for no shows when I was there and one I called ahead and cancelled. But real issue they kept telling not to worry about spot on nose. The spot was Basel cell and Advanced Derm found it! Thanks Moeller Derm wouldn't suggest them at all .........

Friendly staff but rather unprofessional in communicating results. Only found out my results on patient portal. Do not recommend this clinic

Office experience as a new patient: put me 5 minutes past the appointment window on getting insurance entered. They required I reschedule despite driving across town. Sarah Johnson would have been the new physician but would not see that day. Suggested the front desk expedite in future.l but a bad first impression I'm not repeating.

84 year old stroke survivor couldn't handle Mohs surgery was disfigured with 3 inch Frankenstein scar and emotional trauma

If I could go lower I would. I was there on 06/16/2020 to have two moles removed off my birthmark. The PA-C Schulyer showed me in the mirror two of the numerous moles I have on my birthmark and I corrected him and pointed to the two I wanted to be removed. Much to my surprise when I removed my dressings this morning-he had removed one of the moles, but not the biggest one i wanted removed, but they removed a different smaller one. In trying to contact them I was told they would return my call by 12 noon, it is now 4:30 and I had to contact them back. They want me to come back in, pay another copay, another insurance charge and they will remove the one they were supposed to do in the first place. Nice practice, real nice. Don't use them EVER.
