A little off the "beaten" path, but not that far, AND well worth a visit. Situated in beautiful rolling hills, this winery creates enjoyable, wonderful-tasting wines, and quite a line of them, too. They also have meat and cheese trays (for about $8.00) to enjoy with their wines.

Yum! I absolutely love visiting the Wheat State Wine Co. when we are in Winfield! We visited last year shortly after they had opened and had the pleasure of tasting their delicious wines. They offer free tastings and free tours of their winery and vineyard. You must try the Ad Astra (although they were out this time around), Dog Run Red, and Flat Pick. I've got 3 bottles in my suitcase ready to go and I certainly plan on coming back!

We travel across the country, in our motor home and try local vineyards, wineries. This one is a must stop, for anyone traveling in the area. Thank you!Deb & John P

This is a beautiful winery and tasting room. We were in town from California and decided to visit the winery on Sunday. We did the full tasting of all the wines. They have a smaller free tasting, but 5 dollars for the full tasting is the way to go. We found several wines that we liked a lot, in particular, one called Lawless. Chay was very informative behind the counter. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Wheat State Winery and highly recommend it.
