Watts Coffee

A nice little shop in downtown Council Grove. They have ready-made breakfast sandwiches, fresh brewed coffee and are playing AC/DC on the sound system. Friendly staff and rustic atmosphere. This is also an art store, Alexander ArtWorks, displaying a variety of hand made artwork. I was especially impressed by the laser engraved steel tables and signs.

I was so relieved to find Watts Coffee in Council Grove. As near as I can see, the Flint Hills area has nothing like Watts for many, many miles. What a great, homey, comfortable little coffee shop! The folks there were all so welcoming and the coffee and pastries were great. They have wifi and comfortable little tables that look out to the main street. Importantly, they treat you like family. If I ever get to go back to Watts I'm going with a smile on my face.

My wife and I were in town for a few days and I found Watts Coffee on day one and made it over every morning for three straight days. I had to get some work done, so I thought it would be great to have coffee and WIFI. BOTH of which Watts Coffee provided. The coffee was great, and the staff team and owner ever Greater. The team let me use space in the Art Store for a zoom call with bankers and I could not ask for more. Plus the Coffee was fresh and excellent. The art of Alexander is amazing and you can see his metal Indian sculptures on the hills in central Kanas. IF you are travelling in Council Grove stop and enjoy an hour in Watts Coffee.

Great little coffee shop on Main St. Friendly, small town service. The young women working there were happy to answer all our questions. We ordered a hot brewed coffee and an iced Americano. Both were excellent and generous servings for the price. Liked my brewed coffee so much that I decided to take home a bag of their roasted beans. A wonderful find on our road trip!

Absolutely amazing coffee shop! The staff are very friendly and cheerful. Great music and a wonderful atmosphere! Great selection of both coffee, tea, smoothies, as well as fantastic pastries.
