I don't like to do reviews in the first place, but I've been a loyal customer for over 7 years, since May '22 my rate has increased from $60.60 for 3 months to $95.18 for Nov. '23. THAT"S A 57% INCREASE in 18 months!!And to add Insult to Injury they stick you with a $25 pickup fee for the dumpster, unless you want to load it up and haul it to them. Both of which seem like a good way to lose the local residential market!! I'm glad I'm not one of their investors! They've lost the customer focus for the Investors!! I moved my service to a locally based company, Air Capital Waste!

I have 4 neighbors all in close proximity to my residence, 1 neighbor is paying $121 every 3 months for 1 can, another neighbor is paying $150 every 3 months for 2 cans, another is paying $185 every three months for 1 can, another is paying $200 every 3 months for 1 can and I am paying $181 for 1 can. When I started this, I as paying $85 every 3 months. There were times when none of us had our trash picked up and was sent a lame excuse and basically told us "we will be back next week, bye". After visiting the local landfall and dumping a truck full of trash for $4, I have decided to burn my trash and take it to the local landfill. This company doesn't care about it's customers or their reputation. I would not recommend this service for the Conway Springs area...

If you live in Wichita I recommend that you search out another option than Waste Connections. They're office staff and unprofessional. You never know if and when they will come, your bill will constantly change I've had to call multiple times for my HOA rate and everytime there is some reason they claim its wrong before they fix it. If you have it set up for auto pay with your bank the bills will not come in until after they are due (at least with BOA). If you have to speak to someone they will be rude and everything will be your fault. They take no responsibility for anything. I spoke to a representative named Charity who had an attitude from the moment she got me on the phone. Looks like from other reviews this is a theme, and they need some customer service training. You can deliver information without being condescending and rude.

Good service should be acknowledged. My garbage is picked up by Waste Connections of Canada. My driver is Mr. Ross Down. Someone had placed a bag a orange/red paste looking stuff in my garbage cart that when emptied, smeared all over the street and inside the garbage cart. Ross took the time to clean up the mess, (even though it wasn't something he should have to do). I have to believe he has hundred of pickups a day that needs to get done, so taking the extra time slowed him down.Good to know people still take pride in their day to day work and show respect for others' property.

Their staff is extremely rude. Rosemary was the name of the "lady" I spoke with. I paid online for my trash service which I'd had for 15 yrs, which i have never done before. Long story short, they took my cans. I called up there to explain what had happened, and this person kept cutting me off while I was speaking. I asked to speak to a manager, and she said, no. Lol. Apparently she's out of town for a week. I asked to leave a message, again she said no. Said I'd have to call back. EXTREMELY rude. She needs another job, something not in CUSTOMER service. Ugh

Poor customer service. I called twice in one day about canceling my service. I made sure that the $197 owed for the next three months would not be charged. They assured me it was not. Just a $25 cart pickup fee. Then today, two weeks later, the $197 was debited from my checking account. I called and they told me that it was my responsibility to stop auto pay. Fine, except that no one told me that when I canceled service. When I asked if I'd be charged the $197, no one said I should stop auto pay. This put our family in a hardship at the holidays. The employee never offered an apology. She kept saying it was my responsibility and that she wasn't required to ask if I had autopay. A heads up about canceling auto pay, whether I had it or not, should be required when a customer ends service with them. I will never recommend Waste Connections. Their prices went up $40(!!!!) since our last bill. And the customer service was handled poorly. Now we have to wait 10-12 weeks for a refund check to arrive in the mail.

horrible company they will not pick up your trash at least once a month and then just say sorry we don't know why the driver missed your trash can there is nothing we can do so if your looking for a reputable trash company this is definitely not the one save your money and choose someone else

Bad bad service! Waste connections came inside my property to my back yard to take their container while I was at the hospital. They said the container Was theirs so they had the right to take it. For charged $74 get to back and not even an apology for coming in my house without my consent. Then I decided suspend their service and got charged another $75 dollars to get their trash from my home again. Ridiculous! so glad I changed to Air Capital they are amazing for half of what I used to pay!
