Wasabi Sushi Bar West

There was no wait, we were seated immediately. The service was friendly and fast. We ordered two appetizers- tempura shrimp and crab cakes, both were good. The baked salmon and the lobster rolls were amazing, we cleaned our plates. I had some bad restaurant experiences while in town this trip, but this place did not disappoint!

I used to love wasabi so much and still love their food but i cannot with the service. the servers are so rude and barely speak. you'll ask them a question and they'll just walk off. i went in about a week ago and the server i had only said two words max, no hello or goodbye or checking to see if our food was okay.

Good selection of items. The food was great, service was friendly. Everything arrived fast and in large portions. My second time there and I'll go back again when I'm in town.

Very great Sushi it was packed when my mom and I went in there for lunch must be one of the better spots for Sushi in Wichita! The hot sake was kind of pricy, but the meal was very delicious and so was our sake. Ambience was very cute for a sushi restaurant.

After a long day flying in from the Bay Area, California, I really felt like something light and cooler since it was 109 degrees here. I asked a great friend that has eaten here before, for her recommendation. I HAD to come check it out. What a great recommendation! I ordered edamame, raw sweet shrimp nigiri, tuna nigiri, and a delicious roll called the Super Tiger ... avocado, spicy tuna, shrimp, crab, spicy sauce, it was SUPER YUMMY! I loved all of it! Very fresh and service was very friendly! The restaurant seemed to be very popular because it was busy... I will definitely return!

Sat down and immediately was asked for our order. Quick service and friendly demeanor by the waitress. She did a great job by keeping her glasses full and our orders filled quickly.

Salmon nigiri, the salmon was like butter! So good. The spicy tuna maki was improperly mixed, all the sriracha was in two bites.. ouch! The jalapeño appetizer seemed like they used tuna of a lesser quality... there wasn't enough sauce, just a fry salad underneath.. I've had this many times and it wasn't good compared to how it was. The oh my god had a price increase of $5! I was not impressed by the majority of the food; however, the service was great. Probably won't be back, which is disappointing. This was my go to! But if you love salmon definitely get some from here.

This was the WORST experience i've ever had at an establishment. Waitress completely ruined our experience for Valentine's day, I couldn't even tell you our servers name. The staff needs to really get it together, you don't point to a table and say go sit there and then leave us to sit for 15 minutes before walking over and rushing us to get our order in. Every table left with a rose, and she didn't bother for us. I don't understand where me and my husband went wrong, I don't get why we were treated so poorly and also the table next to us were treated poorly by this same waitress. We will never be coming back and I will advocate to others to never come to this location. Absolutely awful.

Dirty with foul smell, this was our go to place to eat at least 4-5x a month and every time the service got worse and the cleanliness of the place started to deteriorate. Last time I walked in it had such a foul smell like moldy the floors were filthy the tables were so dirty. This place has really gone downhill.

Just moved here. Find something better. Wait staff was okay. Food was not the sushi I'm accustomed to and wine was basic shelf not real good choices. Not a place for those who do not like sushi as they do not serve much else. I thought they were part of the wasabi chain and was grossly mistaken!
