Walt's Four Seasons Campground & Country Store

The campground in the back looked fantastic, though we didn't stay there since we were just passing through. The country store was great, with helpful service. The grounds were also great, including a cute little truck that is perfect for posing for photos. If we had been looking for camping in the area, this would have been a perfect place to stop. But for us it also made a good stop for gas and snacks, plus coffee!

We popped into this place because one of our traveling toddlers had to go to the bathroom and it was the first exit after the call out, "I have to pee!". What a wonderful find. Place was cleaner than any other place I've ever stopped for gas, snacks or a restroom across Kansas. Nice selection of fruit, candy, even had a small kitchen that makes amazing sandwiches and pizzas. Cold drinks, local jellies. The two ladies working were as pleasant and welcoming as can be. Felt like we had stopped by to see old friends. I travel through Kansas frequently and this place is now one I will stop at every time to fill up on gas and grab a bite to eat for the road. Mark it as a favorite. You're going to do the same I bet after your first stop here!

This park is really great for camping groups. Our group of 11 rigs had an amazing time in Abilene, KS with Walt's as our headquarters. I worked with Kelly extensively to setup our group's long weekend. She and her team are amazing, so helpful, detail-oriented, and flexible. I just can't say enough about them.The facilities are very nice. Kelly and Walt acquired this campground about a year ago and have invested heavily to upgrade the electricity and water systems. They are very well setup for groups with varied needs-they have a beautiful meeting room, a large outdoor pavilion, nice walking trails, a fishing pond and mini-golf. Our group conducted a mini-golf tournament that was total goofy fun for us.If you plan your group's stay here at Walt's you'll no doubt have a terrific time

Nice clean, quiet campground. Easy to park in camp spots. Friendly employees and wonderful little convenience store. Neat campground with a pond, mini golf, and ducks. We were just going to find a parking lot to pull over and stay in on our trip across the country. Saw this cute little campground while we were driving and pulled in. Glad we did. Definitely a blessing. Bonus... it was $20 Tuesday. Highly recommend this campground.

I am new the the RVing world and still learning. Picked Walts randomly just because it was about the halfway point to my destination. Bud escorted me to the site I reserved online and helped me get all hooked up. Great amenities, super clean and organized, great prices and options at the country store, beautifully kept grounds. If you need a place off I70, I highly recommend Walt's.

We have had a blast staying at Walt's Campground. The landscaping is beautiful. The store is clean and well stocked. There is great pizza and amazing Tex-Mex burritos for a quick bite. Walking around the pond and watching the ducks enjoy their best duck life helps keep us sane on this long road trip. Thank you Walt and Kelly and so many others who made our star phenomenal.
