We go here for steaks. Sometimes we get special items, like chips or bacon. They process deer for hunters. I like to go in the Summer months to get bones for the dog. In the Summer, go on Saturday to check out the Farmer's market, then go inside to check the sales.

We are full timing in an RV now, and will definitely be stopping at Walnut Valley as we pass through Kansas to stock up on steaks. Last month we called ahead and ordered steaks and burgers to get us through the summer. Can not be happier with what we got. These rib-eyes and T-bones look just like the ones you see at the best steak houses. Great marbling and excellent flavor. Only worry now is we might eat them all before summer is over.

GRIZZLY BURGERS!!! If you haven't tried their Grizzly Burgers, you haven't lived. Of course, if you eat their grizzly burgers often, you probably won't live long. lol But oh, it would have been worth it. Awesome people. FRESH and delicious meats. It's worth the drive.

Good selection of pork and beef. Said they'll do custom orders. Very helpful staff. Clean.

Was greeted at the front door and our order was carried out to the car! Great people working there and will have more orders for them.

I had done business here for 10 years and now when I have a problem the owner tells me to go somewhere else. I had 2 steers processed and going off of THERE inventory sheet of how many lbs of what i had I was 20 lbs short of brisket. I contact them and tell them I think a mistake was made and Michael didn't even act as if he cared. No "I'm sorry we must have just been very busy and made a mistake,would you mind coming back"? Just denial and no help offered,even though it was there inventory sheet made by them. I have had many steers processed here over the years so I'm not a first time guy who don't know what's going on. Then today when my daughter goes n to pickup our dog bones he gives her the brisket and tells her to tell her dad don't come back and go to Yoder meats. No need for that after he told me that yesterday. So n the end I did get all my beef but after being treated like . This pandemic era is the best time a butcher shop has ever experienced and it's ez for them to treat people badly now but it won't last forever. Too bad too because they do have some nice people working n their store.
