We have had this beer on a few occasions in Kansas City, but we decided to take a pit stop on the way to OKC and try some drafts/check out the brewery itself. The space is small but very cool. They have a little flip menu with the history of the space, a nice sized appetizer menu, and most importantly the beer...AWESOME. We got a flight of 5 beers, and the Vienna cream ale was by far my favorite. We wanted to try a few we hadn't had before, and as a huge fan of Kolsch beers, my wife jumped on the chance to try theirs. She loved it and even bought a 6 pack to bring with us. The only beer I didn't love was the Darkth Udder, it had an interesting smoky flavor, but the taster sized glass was more than enough of this choice. All in all, for the small size of the town, I was beyond impressed with the big flavor and refinement the beers presented at Walnut River. Keep up the great work and please send more of your brews to Kansas City!

Nice little micro brewery! It's pretty small inside but I like the set up and decor. They have a couple of tables or you can sit at the bar. They have a little arcade game table as well. I was a little worried about bringing in my little toddler, so we didn't stay very long. We stayed just long enough to finish a flight. They had some finger foods that you could order as well. We didn't try any but the chili that someone else ordered smelled really good! When I'm back in that area I wouldn't mind stopping in again.

We were in Town for a football game and had some time to kill so we picked this place. We weren't disappointed. We sampled several beers and really liked most of them. We had a late lunch/early dinner. I had the Reuben and found it to be yummy. I can't remember what my husband ordered but it was something like "side of Cow" sandwich. He enjoyed it...in fact I didn't even get to sample it so it must have been good. Jalapeño chips are a must have!Atmosphere was chill...staff was very friendly. Building is quant and historic with touches of modern industrial decor. We drank, ate, and played a couple games of checkers. Would go back if in the area again.

Drink local. Nice little craft brewery located in El Dorado. Flights, pints and growlers to go! Prices are very affordable. They also make the own root beer and orange soda for the non-drinkers. A must visit.

So we finally were able to make the trek out to El Dorado just to see the brewery. I have tried High Beam in a can and at Stearmans and loved it. We get there and we are greeted by this awesome bar tender. He was super friendly and helpful. We wanted to try something different. They had a Sour IPA on tap and a local recommended it if we enjoy IPAs. I am not normally a fan of Sours, but this beer was great. The flavor hit the spot for both my husband and myself. Which never happens. The atmosphere is really cool also. Tours are at 2 and we are going to try and go during the tour as the building has a lot of cool history. We filled a growler with High Beam to take home and it was perfect for our Super Bowl Sunday. Worth the 40 min drive for sure!

They have a nice beer selection, and a deli which I did not order from as I didn't know they had food. I love the food option at a brewery! I would have waited to eat and taste beers here. The place is housed in a brick building off of Central street, the main street. I had Irish red warhead, spouse got an I beam IPA, and it tasted great. Also got a growler of Coffee Porter for a hostess gift at the houseboat. Will return if come through town again.
