Viking Motel

If you're looking for inexpensive accommodations in the Borg of Linds, this spot will do. This is definitely a relic of a bygone era but it still serves its purpose in the now times if your goal is to simply take your rest and nothing more. The room was as clean as it could be, the window unit was functional, the bed was comfortable enough and the television was there. I would classify the ambiance as "garden variety vintage motel issue". The shower left something to be desired in that it featured stains of ancient origin (much like the towels); the water pressure was lacking but the temperature was plenty hot. Bonus point for soaps? Sure. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the bathroom also featured a working toilet. True, it's not the Ritz Carlton but it is also not Motel Hell. Go with God.

This is the worst place I've stayed during my travels. Water leak caused the floor to be wet, the cable didn't work, the ac and heater were both on. Pass this one.

Just what I needed. The Viking is located in a quirky little town and is the perfect place to get some rest while passing through. The wifi is fast! The management is extremely nice and helpful. If I pass through again, ill be staying here. You can't beat the price.

We had a great experience from the phone call to book this to leaving. The bed was very comfortable, rooms were very clean, so they didn't have coffee in the room that was fine they had a little breakfast bar in the office. I believe this is a little hidden gem. I am sure we will be back next year.

I was not expecting a classic Hilton type hotel in this quaint little town.but I was pleasantly surprised by this renovated motel. The owner has put her own touch on decorating the rooms and the room was CLEAN, comfortable & PET FRIENDLY. And affordable?? Definitely would stay here again when I return on a Girls Trip. Such a fun town!!

I accidentally checked into this hotel instead of the one next to it. I was supposed to stay 3 nights but only lasted about 5 hours. The room was not comfortable at all. There was mold on the air conditioner, it was very humid and musty. There were 4 lamps in the room with no lamp shades. Flies and no way to kill them. I checked out at 10:00 pm and still got charged for the 2 days I didn't stay.

This motel has everything when I am traveling cross country and the service is the best. Clean, comfortable, all the room amenities (except no coffee maker, but the office serves the best coffee. better than those coffee maker packets), close to a great town, and affordable.
