Van's Bar & Grill

A friend told me to try out Taco Tuesday. I called. The woman said $2 tacos. I was intrigued. A $1 Taco tends to be a street Taco. I wanted something more substantial. I was NOT disappointed!Hubby and I went to the El Dorado Entertainment center, where this little gem resides. The place had a makeover since last I'd been here over 10 years ago. Nice amount of seating, even an area where you can sit sort of outside. * I took a pic. The bar area was full, so we selected a table. There is a 2-sided menu. We looked at it for future reference. When the waitress arrived, we only wanted tacos. 2 for hubby, 3 for me. The tacos had a fried shell, decent amount of lettuce and tomato sitting on top of the initial beef filling. Not over fried on the shell, which was nice. I enjoyed the crunch, then the veggies. The meat was not greasy, which was a plus for me. We plan to go again. I would enjoy trying out the pizza. Hubby was looking at maybe an onion burger on another day. Great food, friendly atmosphere. We will be back!
