US Post Office

This US Post Office is withholding mail from Rockborough apartments punishing all residents stating we have to pick up the mail there. The leasing manager stated she has been calling the "manager" and the "manager is unavailable. If I had a disability or was handicap I would sue them. If the mail carrier was attacked or bit by a dog she needs to give details of the area it occurred to make sure hundreds of residents are not affected. The news outlets will be notified.

I never thought I'd leave a review for a post office, but here I am, and I am pissed. I went in on a Friday to drop off a package with a designated return label, and to grab a box and some bubble wrap. The young man that checked me out was very nice and helped me purchase my stuff. While he was helping me with my return package a lady came up behind him and told him that he needed to tell me to get back if I am not ready to ship my package out. I advised the lady I was also making a purchase; she rolled her eyes and went back to her own customer. I was told I couldn't mail my return package because the slip was wrong or something. What we. Now on Saturday I went back to mail a different package - you know the one I bought the day before. The lady that checked me out said "I'll have to charge you for this box." I asked her why because I purchased it yesterday and I walked in with it. The woman argued with me about the box being date stamped. She told me if I cannot prove I bought the box she will charge me for it. While continuing to speak to me in a condescending tone I dug through my bag and found the receipt. This woman did not apologize to me. Furthermore, she was ringing me up and could not read the address on the box, I told her the address and she replied "you don't have to be rube," so I advised her the same. She rang me up and then half ass apologized to me. I'll probably never go back to that post office UPS here I come.

I rarely need the post office, but when I do it's rarely there for me. Everyone else can get their packages signed for at the office. Me? I come home exhausted to find a "sorry we missed you" card on my DOOR. The carrier for my route has been tardy, they've not delivered important items on time, and I've wasted countless dollars in over night delivery charges only to have him decide not to deliver as suits his fancy.

I went to get a post office box key because I lost mine. The guy told me we don't service that post office box call your home owners association. Which I did, they said that don't either. Took me 2 weeks to figure out what to do, then I found out I just need to being my house deed to the post office with my dl license. They just need better training.

They were the most friendly post office attendants I've ever worked with! They were quick and loved through the line of people quickly!

WOW!!! Just WOW!!! EEOC at its finest..... NOT!!! No one wants to do their actual job. Rather, drink coffee, gossip and ignore customers!!! No wonder USPS is going broke and always looking for a bailout and raising prices!!!

This post office does not deliver packages, they deliver slips telling you to come get your packages. Or sometimes you might get someone else's package, but not yours. The lobby is disgusting. Everything is covered in dust, the windows have obviously never been cleaned, and most of the supplies are either empty or have been there since the 70's. They have the smallest parking lot ever and rife with pot holes. The clerks have a poor attitude. Hey USPS: Instead of thinking of all the reasons why you can't deliver mail, try doing the one thing we need and pay for, getting mail and packages to the destination address. Or one day you might find we don't need you anymore and you can go work for UPS and FEDEX where they run all day, and do a damn fine job of delivering.
