Meet Sammie. Great dog. Hoping to be out of pain and better cared for in the future.

The team was very professional while we were dealing with the emotionally fraught decision to put down our senior cat. They were informative and straight-forward about our options, but they were also compassionate about how difficult these times are for families. We were seated in a private room that was very comfortable for us to say our last goodbyes, and we were given a number of options for remembrance after, including paw and nose prints. All workers were very sympathetic about our situation.Overall, this is a great facility for some of the hardest days of pet owners' lives. We're very thankful for their help giving our boy a peaceful passing.

The had to euthanize my best friend. They we're all so very kind, professional and empathetic. They were very busy but got us in quickly when they saw how serious it was. They treated my dog with such tenderness and respect. I was thankful they were there when we needed them.

I was traveling to visit family in Wichita when my dog Samson began licking and limping a lot. I brought him to the Urgent Pet Care location. Initially when I came the staff seemed welcoming and professional the place was clean and a DIY industrial look to it. We were enjoying the venue overall my dog is in severe pain and is scared and hurt. I had a muzzle placed on him because he does bark and snap at the vet tech and has a lot of anxiety and fear. He obviously cant bite anyone with a muzzle. After nearly an hour the vet finally arrived and as she and the tech circled around my dog with his muzzle on he snapped and barked again. The vet techs don't seem to be trained on dealing with animals with anxiety. She left the exam room upset. The vet in a stern voice at me informed me "that if my dog is going to act this way they are going to have to sedate him for the exam because she is not going allow her staff to be endangered or hurt if Sammie is going to act this way" My dog has never been injured. I obviously didn't know that he was going to bark and snap with a muzzle on, as a vet and tech you should be better trained to work with animals in pain that are scared and anxious and communicating that in the only way they know how, barking and snapping. The staff consoled the vet tech for 20+ minutes and gave myself and my dog dirty looks and seemed very uncaring and put out by cleaning up his treats off the floor of the exam room. I would hope when a client is spending $100's to $1000 of dollars at this clinic for a pet that is injured and in pain you would be met with professional and compassionate staff that are able to understand this is how animals behave when they are trapped scared and injured. A long way to go at this office in professionalism and pet care.

We couldn't have asked for a better visit with Urgent Pet Care. We went in because our dog was having an allergic reaction to her vaccines that she had done this morning. We were in and out in less than an hour. All of the staff and vet team were kind, informative, and punctual. The prices were great in comparison to VESH. Can't recommend enough!

Vampiristic business. This is a more business like environment. Bring your pet here if you think your pet will leave here alive. If you're in need of comfort that doesn't have $$$ requirements don't come here. They're fine for providing end of life care if you have the funds. Also the open floor plan that allows you to see your dying pet like it's a damn show.I suggest you make things a little more personal. A little less community viewing when you drop your pet you don't want to be providing your billing information while seeing your loved one laying on the table being evaluated. Then being told there's nothing they can do here for $ but they can do more if you're willing. With a whole bunch of prying ears. Don't expect privacy here.

Very dishonest billing practice-I called and asked specifically about medications that my dog was being sent home with post surgery since it was my dog sitter that brought my dog in for care. I explained that if i could save $ by taking prescriptions to a retail pharmacy rather than filling at an expensive immediate care Vet, that I would rather have paper prescriptions and I was only informed prior to payment of one medication, not 3. I paid for one medication that cost $57 that I agreed to, one that cost $40 that I already had at home and a third that cost $40 that would have cost less than $3 at a retail pharmacy. When I called to question why I was not informed prior to payment when I asked on the phone prior to payment, I was told that because my pet sitter was acting as my agent because I was out of town that it was her responsibility to give me the estimate. Even though I asked prior to payment of what medications were being sent home. Instead of making a concession to refund me for the two medications that I was not informed about prior to payment when I specifically asked-I was told that they couldn't be refunded. Not a good business practice to blame the pet sitter of failure to deliver an estimate prior to payment.

Was really impressed with the care my cat received today. The vet tech and veterinarian were great. Dr. Cederberg explained everything and was very helpful!
