Twin Lakes Apartments

The assistant manager, Brandy,has been a delight to work with. She has been very responsive and professional in responding to our maintenance needs and/or requests, complaints, or help with any questions we have had during the time that she has worked at this property.She has been 'under the gun' on this property for quite a spell while they have tried to fill the void for a manager, all the while perhaps just needing to recognize what they already have under their fingertips. Brandy has maintained the service that we have come to expect after living here for 9 years.

You dont want to live here if you have a large close knit family that comes to visit you regularly. People here are so nosey. They watch out their windows and make sure you don't have more than 4 guests swimming and that you are down by the pool. There's no diversity here, most are older European Americans. And if there are people of color, they don't come out because of all the complaints that get reported to BRANDY who in turn calls you up telling you to stop doing what you're doing or get kicked out. I've been here 3 months and I'm ready to move. The lake stinks like sewer and the people here stink too. ​I had my grand daughter spending weekends with me but that got cut off because if someone stays more than 7 days, they're considered a resident. I can't watch TV after 10pm cause my neighbor claims my tv is too loud. And even Brandy told me that everyone is watching me. Like what the heck!!? If you like peace and privacy, this isn't the place for you. People are grouchy and rude!! Time for me to get a house again. I had one for 10 years and decided to try apartment living. Nope!!! Apartment living is not for me.

My parents are new tenants and love it. Mela is awesome in the office, very professional and quick also, down to Earth. The maintenance men are proficient and polite. I am very grateful for being able to rent here for my parents! Thank you Twin Lakes! One more thing, the neighbors are wonderful and I see wildlife everywhere it's perfect.

Have had major rodent (raccoon) issue in my attic. Others have as well. Have had multiple conversations with management regarding smell's emanating into my apartment and have had others on same floor witness the smells into my apartment that make me nauseous. They are releasing me from my current lease. I have multiple pictures and videos of raccoons one-scraping ceiling from attic into my apartment and two-roaming our floor of apartments and actually coming down from roof at night to start their nighttime fun. Gotta say beautiful landscaping. If you can get ground floor apartment great, but definitely would not recommend anything upstairs. Also if you like hot showers, more than a 8-9 min this is not the place. 27 gal water heaters. You get in and out, and good luck. Maintenance men are great for most part. Never had a problem and usually right on point of what I need. A couple of things still have not been taken care of but I'm leaving so no point in trying anymore.

Very nice complex, well maintained. Any problems are dealt with promptly by friendly office staff. Had an issue with the AC when first moved in, was fixed the next morning. The grounds are nice, and the lake is pretty. with a walking path around it. Could live without the messy geese, but those are a problem all over Wichita. Its nice and quiet too.
