Turtle's Donut Shoppe

I was born in Ponca City and return again and again to Turtles. The donuts are yummy, but so is the Texas Chocolate sheet cake. Worth every decadent morsel.

Many years later; Turtle's still bears the reputation or having the best donuts anywhere. Their new location just down the road is perfect...the ease of the new drive through is a most appreciated feature...but absolutely dangerous to the waistline. Stop by for some breakfast treats or order a sandwich for lunch. Chicken salad on the homemade bread is still one of my faves!!!

Best donuts in town! Everything I've tried here has great flavor and almost melts in your mouth. Employees are always friendly.

I have had more donuts this week than I have had in months. Turtles is a favorite and I am a big fan of the fried cinnamon rolls. Everything we have tried there is good. The service is friendly but I have never had much chance to interact with the staff because they are son busy they don't have time to slow down. Best donuts in Ponca and better than most other donut shops I have visited.

The donuts are very very good, but if you go here you have to try the sausage roll.... It's amazing!

I went into Turtle's expecting the same great service I always receive but instead it was a different story. The woman behind the counter asked for my order and I gave it to her but she kept putting the wrong items in the box. I explained to her that I wanted an apple fritter and she said she would have to go into the back and see if there were any back there. They were sitting there right in front of her. When I pointed to them she put this nasty glazed donut thing that was filled with apple pie filling. I don't know if she was new but it seriously took me 10 minutes for an order that should have taken 2 minutes. The other guy back there (the owner I think) busted out the whole line but the time it took me to get mine.

Get there early to get the food stuff!! Their bread is on point! I've never experienced bad customer service

These are simply the best doughnuts in the state of Oklahoma and beyond. The glazed ones are delicious. The staff is friendly too.
