Tryyaki Asian Cuisine

I had a short stay in Hays and needed to grab food. This place was the closest Asian restaurant to where I was staying. I was expecting completely butchered Asian food subpar to Panda Express. I went through the drive thru. They were so nice and very quick.A few things... 1) No it's not exactly "authentic" Asian food (they also don't claim to be), but that's hard to find anywhere here not just in Hays since most Asian restaurants try to cater to their mostly American clientele. It was a true fusion restaurant and the food and flavor was A-MAZING! They took it and made it their own instead of trying to copy a generic Asian restaurant. 2) Holy shitake mushrooms, they give you SO MUCH FOOD for the amount they charge. I even had food for the next day. I don't go out to Hays much, but I highly recommend grabbing fast food here.

Simple stop right off I-70.Our 8-pack of California Rolls was less than $5!The portions are huge!!The "salad" is a meager attempt to offer vegetables, although I appreciate it still. It was mostly iceberg lettuce. Pretty bland.The flavor of the general chicken and the chicken kabobs were great!The fried rice was almost 100% plain rice - not very flavorful.

We were greeted and sat as soon as we walked in. The wait staff is great, very friendly. The cooks are fast and make a decent meal. Great for little town KS. The restaurant is clean, and nicely decorated.

I really enjoyed their food! They serve quickly through a drive through. I never had one impolite or cranky person, they do their jobs well I also delivered for Door Dash for them, and they were almost always ready and great to work with.Give them a try: they are worth it. My favorites with them were General Chicken and Orange Chicken.They are a drive through so not much for ambiance, but the food is great.

This spot is great, love the food and prices. Drove through here to Colorado and will gladly stop here for food every time I come through . My favorite part , the 16piece sushi is only around 8$ or a little more! The sushi rolls up above are double stacked and delicious. Got all this for about 34$ and couldn't finish it :( my only complaint is I couldn't eat all of it at once , definitely filling .Wish y'all were in my home town I'd be a regular.

Meh. Not nearly as good as the 4 stars led us to believe it would be. Inside was closed and it was drive-thru only. Food recap:- General (Tso's) Chicken: Sweeter sauce than most places' version, but decent. 3/5- Tuna spicy roll sushi: A little kick and just okay. 3/5- Crab Rangoon: worst cream cheese filling we've ever had, it may have been expired or something. We threw the whole order away after biting into a few. 0/5.

Food was really good and greatly priced. Fed a family of 5 from 3 combination plates and still had leftovers.

Decent food and portions are huge. Good for the price. Had the chicken skewers and they were delicious.

This place is amazing. My husband comes to Hays on weekends to do DoorDash and Uber and convinced me to come and try this place. And Holy. Crap. The food? Amazing. The servings? Perfect. The service? Terrific. From the time I ordered to the time I got my food and pulled away was only 4 minutes. And the food is so fresh!! And an amazing price. I can't wait to come back. I know we couldn't go in because it's drive thru only but the atmosphere is amazing! 100/10 stars.
