The service was good and the Ahi Tuna Sandwich was delightful! Good beer selection too!

My brother told me about this place. Went with a couple friends and we were all very impressed. Very nice modern decor, excellent service and the food is awesome (menus attached) loved the fish and chips. Hand breaded to order which is very hard to find in midwest. Breading was a light panko type. Very crunchy. I dont like tarter sauce but very much enjoyed theirs. The in house made potato chips are bountiful, well seasoned and crunchy. Ca,e with 3 pieces of fish. The picture attached is what was leftover when i was finished. My friends had the Gobbler and cheesestake. Like me, they took home about half and they loved the food. This is my new go-to spot when i visit Joplin

After my recent visit to Tropicana, I'm wondering why I haven't been here more often. The fish bowls are gigantic (but in a good way) and the burgers are perfection. I believe they have expanded their options recently so they were able to make any of the burgers into a vegetarian version. I ordered the vegetarian version of the Jerk Burger and it was PERFECTION! Probably one of the best burgers I've had in Joplin. It was interesting to have pineapple in a burger but now I don't want it any other way. And the onion rings are massive but so so good! I believe they have a spicy ranch too so I highly recommend getting that with the onion rings/fries. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu now!

This is a mixed bag. You will have to come to the restaurant and experience it for yourself. They get things right and still, what can I say?I sat at a long bar-height table with my group. 95% of my group were sitting on the east side of the 12"x12" pole that separate the table from the east to the west.Needless to say, I wasn't included in any conversation. I sat and drank a couple before I just got up and left. The music was so loud and the other patrons so loud that conversation was difficult. My server, Kolton, was pretty ok. I didn't have to ask for a glass of water. He obviously knows a little bit about serving drinks. I must say, the Figgy Piggy was excellent! Although, the menu description says that there is goat cheese in the dish, you could not prove it by me. You know when there is goat cheese involved. It had NO goat cheese flavor. If someone orders a dish with goat cheese, they are probably expecting to taste some goat cheese. Ok, now for the wine list. An Italian red blend of wine should be kind of good, yeah? It was the only red wine that wasn't a cabernet. Ok, I'll bite, er I mean drink. Yeah, someone should warn you that this wine is not actually a red blend. This wine was actually more of a desert wine, sickeningly sweet. If it weren't for the fact that when everything was said and done, about $50 for two drinks and one appetizer, I won't probably be back.

Fun atmosphere and great servers. Burgers are the go to item here but the specials can be a lot of fun to try. They have one of the best appetizers in Joplin. The Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. You read that correct! Try them!

This place is really good. I don't mean to sound surprised but it wasn't on my radar of places to go until friends invited us. The food is quite good, particularly the onion rings. Had an issue with the beer tap but waitress kept apologizing, which obviously it wasn't her fault and all in all it wasn't a big deal, the had several other options.

Stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday. This place is a local hangout. We had the turkey sandwich. Loaded with meat and nice toasty bread. We also had the chicken salad. Big salad all fresh ingredients. We also got the special, which was a Cuban sandwich. It was a hamburger with ham and a slice of porklion with cheese and an aloi sauce. Lots of meat. It was a great deal. The service was attentive, but it took a bit to get our food. I asked for the aloi on the side, and it came out on the sandwich, so I sent it back, and it came back with the aloi again.. The waitress kept pouring unsweetened tea in the glass for sweet tea, but she fixed it

The food here was so good. My whole family enjoyed it. We had wonderful service and the staff were very accommodating

If you're looking for local food, this is usually my go to for business lunches. Rarely do I have any issues with getting the right order or not getting help when I need it!
