Just walked in here while on a trip to Hutchinson and had a great time. Talked with the owner for a long time, recieved superb recommendations on local places to eat and other things to do while in town. Awesome owner aside. The store is very well laid out, organized, and clean. The staff is engaging and friendly. The stock is huge and it seems to have a little bit of everything. Definitely worth a visit. Places like this are why supporting local businesses is always a good idea. Finally, if you do visit and you talk with the owner and he tells you somewhere you should go in town to get food, listen to the man. He knows what he's talking about.

About 4 years ago the hubby bought trains, tracks and other stuff here. We walked in just to look (did I mention we were traveling?) and he turned into a kid when he saw the train table in the back. The owner was so patient, answered all of his questions, gave us pointers on what to spend money on first - you get quality customer service here. Not many places like this around anymore. This store has it all, not just trains. If you want to walk down memory lane or show your kids and grandkids how we survived without video games - this is your mecca.

This super-clean vintage store has serious collector's items, but big diversity: price points start under a dollar! So truly, there's something here for everyone. Vintage board games too; picked one up as a Christmas gift for a pop culture-savvy friend. Lotsa fun to bring the kiddos. Play with the massive toy train in the back!!
