Edit: I was given a full refund however, the damage is done. Was offered to stay again in the future but I don't believe I'll ever stay at this location again. One star is too many however, it makes you pick to post a review. Disgusting, disappointing, never again! The first room we were giving after arriving at 2 in the morning not only didn't have a working shower but had an adult bedbug. Second room had a working shower but also, one dead and one live cockroach. Over priced, no refunds, No pool, no complimentary breakfast, could smell the cigarette smoke in our room even though it was a non-smoking room, not sure when the last time the furniture was vacuumed. Just totally disappointed. If you love or even like someone don't let them stay here.

I'm going to start our by saying thanks to Robert ( the maintenance man I think his name was) and his wife! They made our stay very pleasant while there with my husbands company .. ok so I've never really stayed in many older motels , this would be my second one, we stayed here for 8 days , they have great rates on hotel apps , I used Travelocity, it was 39$-41$a night which is insane cheap so I was hesitant to book , but glad I did. The staff are super friendly, they have hot breakfast, pet friendly (my Yorkie mix was free of charge). The bed didn't break my back, location was right next to everything in a small town, my fur baby likes to go outside at weird hours during the night and I never felt unsafe , now the bad ... the bathroom bathtub was horrible, like horrid !!! I think there was a liner over the tub so, when you stepped in it , the tub bottom would move like a water bed ...also hard water stains etc, needs remodeling ASAP .. I did notice some stains also like on little things like the door and lamp , the sheet didn't fit the bed correctly, and there were no pillow protectors., the wifi was either a hit or miss .. but for the price , I would stay here again!

If I could give less than one star, I would. Listen, I get it, it's a small town...Nothing to see here. It's just a place to lay your head down if your visiting family. I'm not rating it against 5 star places I've been in NYC. This place is somewhere to sleep better than your car . The owner doesn't speak hardly any English ( to his credit, he was friendly and gave a thumbs up ) One channel on the tv (Hogans heroes and Carol Burnette which I love) Internet sucked, if any at all. A sheet laid over the mattress pad with the most basic bedding and hey this is a cheap place and it is to be expected so if I'm rating it on a cheap place for $50, not terrible, it as to be expected. It did have a microwave and a mini fridge. I haven't taken a shower yet but hopefully it has hot water, I would expect that it does. So, don't expect much from this place because it's not very expensive and it's in the middle of nowhere, what do you expect? I guess that's what I should ask myself. You get what you pay for. It is what it...is nothing more nothing less. Not necessarily a terrible experience but a $50 experience.

This was the most unprofessional and disturbing hotel | motel stops ever. They told me they did not accept my HOTELS.COM reservation. (RED FLAG #1) They did indicate that they had a room and what the rate would be. After I indicated that I would indeed like a room they ask if I would be paying with cash or a credit card. When I said 'credit card' the attendant said they would only accept cash and if I wanted to cancel after seeing the room they would not return my payment. Book at the ROADWAY INN 60 seconds drive East of this location.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I booked the room for my stepdaughter. To start out the office is supposed to be closed from 12am-6am. When calling to confirm she was told the office was closing early and if she didn't arrive before 11pm she would not be able to check in. The desk clerk was rude. The room was deyond disgusting. There were bullet casing scattered around on the floor, used condoms under the bed and moldy food in the room. The bathroom had no towels although I requested extra towels for her. I was shocked when she sent me a video and photos to show me the disgusting mess. When the state of the room was pointed out upon check out the desk clerk just shrugged her shoulders and walked away.

Save your money, the pictures are deceiving. The rooms smell, the carpets are old looking and the management doesn't care about your concerns. Drive by this motel and stay at the Rodeway Inn down the road it is much better and alot cleaner.

For being in such a small town this hotel is really nice! The pool is super clean the bed is comfortable and they allow pets which for us is a definite plus! The only down side is the size of the room you have a pathway around the bed only wide enough for one person at a time even one dog at a time....also the weekly price is a little high but then again it's two adults and a two dogs so I do understand. Overall a very nice hotel!

While this is not a 5 star resort, I felt that we received 5 star service. When I made my reservation, I was really just looking for a place to sleep and take a shower. Mid-day on the date of the reservation, I discovered that my brother would be traveling through the same area at the same time, from another directionn but he had his dog with him. I called the Townsman Inn and found that they do accept pets and they gladly upgraded my room for a reasonable difference. We arrived late, but only minutes apart and received a warm greeting and found a clean and functional room. It was all I had requested and more, and at a very reaonable price. The breakfast was just an extra bonus, as I had paid for a room, and didn't really expect to be fed. There is nothing like Kansas hospitality, and dollar for dollar, this was one of the best values I have found in my travels.

This review is for May 27-30.We had a horrible first impression because the evening we arrived and checked in the whole town was smothered by the odor of a nearby feedlot (or feedlots). Never was the stale motel room odor so welcome! We grabbed our luggage, rushed inside, slammed the door, and made sure the outside air vent on the air conditioner was closed. The feedlot smell comes and goes, and I am not rating the motel based on that. The room was average and clean. There was a sign warning that they will charge for towels or pillows taken from the room, which I thought was offensive. The free breakfast was average except it offered toaster waffles and microwave pancakes instead of batter and a waffle make. The breakfast room is too small; it has only two tables and a short counter.
