Me and my wife came down from Gladstone Mo.And stopped in here for lunch, Amy our waitress was nice and made us feel like a local.We got gizzards for appetizer and they were so soft and juicy, and not chewy like other places.Then my wife got the buffalo chicken wrap and I got the mushroom burger, both were very good, the place was nice and great scenery, I had read a few reviews and one said the bathrooms were not clean, they were not great but not horrible, and I am not going to dock stars for the bathroom, as I did not go there for the bathrooms, and most bars I go to the bathrooms are not great either.Over all we were very pleased with the dinning experience here, we also went out the back door and enjoyed the huge deck that wraps around the place. With woods and creek to look at. we would definitely try something else if we came back this way.

Me and my husband and I came here for lunch the other day. I had debated stopping by a few times while visiting Louisburg since I was judging this restaurant mostly on its rustic feel, and all the pickup trucks parked out front. It is definitely very country on the inside, but the main reason I am happy we came was that I anticipated a back deck where I could enjoy nature while eating lunch. That part wasn't a disappointment since the restaurant deck is every bit what I anticipated. This is the main reason I am giving it a four star. Without it, this place would have a two. Our waitress was nice and personable. The food was mediocre, and we would have to try something else on the menu next time. We both ordered the special, which was a Reuben. I believe the reason for the special was because the corned beef had a dated shelf life. Our Reuben corned beef was a bit on the dull colored side. The coleslaw that I ordered on the side was pretty good. My husband ordered the tatertots, which were unbelievably salty. We sent those back, and he had the fresh apple sauce instead. I typically don't comment on bathroom facilities, but the ladies' room was awful, sort of like that at some truck stop.

The best pork tenderloin sandwich I've had in a very long time! Tender. Flavorful. Huge. Crispy breading. Top notch waitress today too!

Food was very good and at a decent value. I had a steak that was cooked perfectly. Other orders at the table were fried shrimp and chicken fried chicken. Portions were pretty good. Good place for comfort food. Service was exceptional. We had a young man that did all you could expect to have a smooth and pleasant visit.Ambience is what you'd mostly expect In a bar and grill. My only suggestion is for the bar staff to pay better attention on what is on the TVs. It was a Saturday evening and only one tv was playing a basketball game. And it was in an obscure location. The others were on odd stations like funny videos or some such that was odd. We were there for family time so wanted to visit with each other so no big deal. just odd for a bar and grill. The good news, the TVs were all muted which is wonderful. The dining room was nice and clean. I did not visit the restrooms -- so can't comment on their cleanliness. All in all, I recommend this place if you are in the area. We had a great time together which is the point

I happened to pick an AirBnB close by and thought we'd have a nice respite from our busy life and I was right! Great little town with lots of things to do. We saw how busy this place was so had to try it. We opted to sit outside and it was quiet and lovely - with no bugs!! The waitress was very friendly and we were able to order right away. John chose the Reuben and I chose the French Dip. The food was good. I didn't feel there was anything special about it but the onion rings were the best!! Crunchy and not greasy!! Thanks for a great experience?

Fantastic food, at a great price, staff was really friendly and checked on you an appropriate amount of times, plus the deck has a scenic overlook of a beautiful creek and lush trees! If you're ever in the area, this is a solid option.

One of our favorite places to eat in Louisburg. Outdoor dining option makes for some great scenery, especially in the evening when the sun has gone below the tree line. Great tasting food. Spent a long time just hanging out and laughing with friends.

Really disappointed in the food at lunch today. Smoked turkey sandwich was bland and greasy. Burgers were overcooked and dry. Service was great, but hard to overcome poor food quality.

Excellent food. Our waitress was very pleasant and returned to our table several times to see if we needed anything. The atmosphere was very inviting. We enjoyed our experience.

their pickles are the best. very juicy. it humbles me. ahahahhhahahahhah I'm innnnnnnnn love!! gimme some more of them picklessssssss
