I wouldn't give 1 star but that is the minimum.. I have been to this restaurant several times now since it is close to our home and the kitchen is open until 11pm. Saturday 5/11/24 we reluctantly visited hoping for a better experience than the past few.. it was horrible. In fact probably the worst we have ever experienced in a restaurant setting. Travis brought out our appetizers and we asked him to be our server since our drinks were at the bar for over 30 minutes and we finally retrieved them ourselves. In fact one of the servers made eye contact, rolled her eyes and went back to scrolling on her phone when a member of our table raised her hand to get her attention. Had it not been for Travis we would have walked out.. He was extremely helpful and apologized for the lack of service from the 3-4 servers who were standing around on their phone. He continued to cook and also helped our table. I wish more people had his work ethic.The atmosphere is open and inviting. It is kid friendly with a small arcade.Now let's get to the food, three of our guests ordered the French dip sandwich. It was literally a chopped up hamburger with Swiss cheese on a hoagie bun. The au jus was so salty none of us could dip our sandwiches in it. The chicken strips seem to be pre breaded frozen chicken patties. You can get better chicken strips from most gas stations for less money. We have tried the master burger in the past and it was so salty I could only eat about 1/4 of it. If you like extra salty mediocre food and horrible service this is the place for you!!

Nutshell: Tasty bar fare, fair prices, friendly service. Would recommend a stop in.I needed a quick dinner to bring back to the campground. Thunderbirds was close by and their menu was within my wheelhouse. They were pretty busy when I rolled, so I sidled up to the bar to place my to-go order. The bartender was very friendly and attentive to everyone at the bar. I ordered the chicken philly with crinkle fries. It took about 20ish minutes and I was out the door and into the snow. The philly was great. Good flavor, nice meat to pepper and onion ratio, hoagie bun was soft and stood up to the weight of the filling. The crinkle fries were crinkle fries. I kept half the sandwich for the next day and even cold, it was very good. My total was about $13. Absolutely reasonable for a very tasty dinner with leftovers.

I've been to eat here more times than I can count! We always order ahead and pick it up to go. I've had so many great items from this menu. I love the Barbarian burger and especially the Sidewinder Fries! I can also recommend the Chicken Fried Steak as well as the Fish & Chips! Never disappointed here!!

I could bathe in a vat of Whiteys cheese sauce. Yet inexplicably, their "cheesesteak" does not utilize it's perfect creamy, melty divineness, instead opting for a modest slice of completely unmelted cheese, with chunks of unremarkably seasoned meat and only a few meager slices of pepper and onion. They may want to look up a picture of a real cheesesteak for reference- they are truly thisclose to something actually craveable instead of merely something serviceable with that.They also need to learn to read the room when it comes to blaring music. It was cranked loud, which would be fine for a place like this when it's bar hours (after 9 pm-ish) but annoying for the early dinner and conversation crowd, which was it clearly was- families with small children, a 60th birthday party, and small groups of couples and friends seemingly in the 30+ age range. (Not to mention there were some ripe lyrics- which again, is not your dinner demo.)

Booked the party room for our son and his best friends 16th birthday party. We had about 30+ people, including small children, attend. Our server, Travis, busted his hump to ensure the everyone had drinks. No one complained. everyone had plenty of drinks. He also took several various food orders and delivered the food and drinks to the people that ordered them. Nothing was missed. Travis was awesome.

We visited this establishment with a group of 10 people on Saturday May 11. This was my first visit to Thunderbirds, and also my last. I have not been this disappointed in years. Our group arrived an hour and 15 minutes before the kitchen closed. However we waited 15-20 minutes for someone to even come take our drink orders. This was after watching three servers look at us and watch us wait. One of whom had a disgusting attitude toward our entire party. We finally had our drink order taken and then our waitress seemingly just gave up on helping us. We had to retrieve our own drinks from the bar. Which had been sitting there at least 15 minutes. While our waitress is busy scrolling on her phone or on the computer. A gentleman named Travis is the only reason we didn't get up and walk out. This man took our food order, cooked our food, and took drink orders. The food (to no fault of Travis) was mediocre at best. Three of us ordered the French dip. I maybe ate half because I was starving. It was literally chopped up hamburger with cheese on it. And the aujus was watered down and so salty it wasn't even worth having on the plate. The cheese fries were the best thing we had out of all our meals. And to Travis... you deserve a raise and a promotion because you're the only reason they made any profit from us that night.

They did not have a Cabernet wine so we settled for a Pinot noir. Serves it in a whiskey glass. Second wine hot served in a rocks glass. 1st beer was in a glass and the second one was in a plastic cup. Cheeseburger we ordered was almost raw. Sad that a bar/grill can't have a simple wine and even a wine glass to put it in. This place is SO low-brow it's disgusting. It also looks like a cafeteria and has no ambience. That was my third time trying it out and the other visits were the same. Won't be going there anytime soon.

Waited over 90 minutes for my food order to go. I arrived at the bar when my food was to be ready and it had not even been submitted into the kitchen. Horrible service.

Friendly staff. Good service. Good food w/ nice variety. We'll definitely go back. East side of town.
