My boyfriend and I went in with high expectations, and while not the perfect first impression, it wasn't all bad. Service was great. The young lady at the counter was exceptionally friendly and helpful. She ran through all the menu options and their specials. The atmosphere inside was cozy and cute. I loved the plants and warm lighting. My issue was with the food. They had sold out of the beef pot single slice. However they had whole frozen pies which I had bought one of. Neither of us liked what we got. Beef Pot pie for 16 dollars while a decent portion size was lacking in flavor, the crust was nice and flakey. Yet the filling was soupy and bland. The Caramel Apple pie wasn't any better either, the apples in the filling under cooked and tasted off like they were either low quality or not very fresh. I'm not convinced that this was the best they could off, so I'm planning to go back and try some more items off the menu. Hopefully something will wow me cause I love pies both savory and sweet!

I was stunned to realize this amazing local business was not on Yelp, which is likely my fault! I first discovered TheraPie several years ago at the winter farmers market when it was in Cico Park at Pottorf Hall. Then the market went year round during COVID and TheraPie has been out there selling deliciousness this year. In addition. the team offers pick-up orders at their bakery location, and daily offerings at Brothers Coffee. Pie and cocktail pairing events show up at Auntie Mae's every now and then too.I have tried a good number of the pie flavors, but my favorite is coconut cream pie with meringue! The strawberry margarita pie is a close second. Everything is really amazing, and pies are sold by the slice, the mini (5") or full size. There are also "tiny pie sets" with various flavors in a little "two-bite" size. At the market, TheraPie also sells hand pies (lemon curd is amazing) and scones. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful local business that brings joy to the community. Tiffany and her talented crew are so awesome, and the pies are AMAZING!

Our family stopped in while we were in the area. The place was empty but the lady working seemed annoyed that we came in. When I asked questions about what an item was she pointed me to the menu and I had to figure it out myself. I asked questions about the various pies trying to help my 7 year old make an informed decision and she just seemed really put out by this and even responded I don't know I've never tried it on some. It just felt like a miss on customer service. The strawberry shortcake was the only pie we all ended up liking and it was delicious. The blueberry cobbler didn't have much flavor, the French silk was just ok, and the peanut butter chocolate chip scone was an odd texture and kind of bland as well. They were out of lemonade and didn't have decaf ready made so if you want that, be prepared to wait for it to be brewed fresh. The shop itself is bright, cute, and clean. Quiet place with 3 large tables to eat.

So we visited Manhattan Ks for my daughter's graduation this last weekend (12/9). We headed over to Brothers Coffee for some coffee and dessert during our stay and stumbled into TheraPie desserts. WOW. My wife, who is a fantastic cook, went crazy over these desserts. We got the French Silk and the Almond Joy pie. The pies were delicious! We took some home and they are already gone. Unfortunately home is a long way away from Manhattan KS, but we will definitely be back at some point. We got to meet Tiffany the owner at her pop-up place across from the "The Chef" and she's as sweet as her pies. Loves to share and easy to converse with. I highly recommend this place.

This unique new business gets 5 stars! It is so clean and quiet with fun decor. We ate there for the first time today. Fresh pie and hot quiche were a perfect change from usual greasy lunch fare. Locally owned. Delicious!

I had a strawberry basil scone, which tasted like a slightly sweet, fluffy biscuit. I would not have known it was strawberry and basil in it just by taste. The orange salad was OK. Pricey, not much spinach. The blueberry rhubarb and granny Smith apple pie sounded interesting, but was actually very boring. I thought they should've put some cinnamon or not Megan there but when I read the ingredients it said it was in there and the crust was OK the lattice on the top was pretty sick, everything was just kinda OK and I paid $21 for all those three items
