Not at all friendly. Picked up an FFL purchase and they didn't even say thanks when I left. No small talk...nothing. You would think they would realize that if you're purchasing a firearm online perhaps you might someday purchase another one, and that you might even purchase it from them. They might even be nice just because it's the right thing to do. But no, they haven't figured that one out.

After searching for a new old stock rifle that I had been wanting to purchase, and not being willing to pay the opening bid, + taxes + exorbitant shipping charges + credit card surcharges etc. etc. common on auction sites I began searching on-line for a brick & mortar dealer who might per chance have one in stock. No such luck. Google may be your friend but that doesn't necessarily mean it's in any hurry to help you find what you're looking for. After days of being directed to dealers who had listed what I was looking for and being led down the road to the infamous "Out Of Stock" and "Notify When Available" dead ends so prevalent in the business, I stumbled across the Wichita Gun Club's listing for what I was looking for and was shaken from my Googling stupor by the words "One In Stock". And for far less than the other dealers wanted for something they didn't even have. I immediately threw it in my virtual cart. With full knowledge that it would still be available to other interested parties until paid for, along with the fact that the one available rifle was hanging on the wall of a gun store hundreds of miles away on Black Friday, I immediately called the phone number listed hoping to speak to somebody other than voice mail or an answering machine who could prove to me that I wasn't dreaming. I was pleasantly surprised by "This is Jess. How may I help you?" Shaken back into reality I managed to find the clarity to ask whether they really still had it available. "Just a minute. I'll check.....yes we still have it available." I was convinced that something had to be wrong with this deal, and having perused through some of their on-line listings I was aware that they carried some older, used, somewhat specialized and collectable rifles and it suddenly dawned on me that the listing hadn't indicated that the gun was new. As my heart sank I just had to ask. Was this gun new? "Just a minute. I'll check the tag.....Yep, it's new." I informed Jess that I was going to push the button and complete the purchase and hung up the phone. I hit the "Pay" button and waited for the inevitable add on fees and excess shipping charges to suddenly appear.....but they didn't. I completed the purchase at the phenomenal listed price and a very minimal shipping charge with no room for margin. I know. I'm in the shipping business. No hidden fees. No mumbo jumbo. Just a straightforward honest deal. A few days later, after a holiday weekend I received the call from my local FFL that they had received my purchase and it was ready to pick up. Thanks Jess for operating a straightforward honest business. I've found my new "go to" dealer for all my future needs. You're the man.

This place is great. Awesome service. The only place I buy guns from. Great local story as well. Can't miss.... See what I did there.

Your number one source in the area for high end 1911/2011 pistols for sure! Jim is a great guy to deal with. Jess has an awesome shop for sure!

I've never been treated the way I was there. The owner is very negative. I live up the street and had a purchase delivered there, I got a hard time getting my weapon. I got my CCL, and driver's license. so I got my purchase and blew his treatment off. The second time I got another purchase I sent there the same thing, and the same BS made me wait till the next day. lost my business. After that time they move from the Edgemoore site. I don't recommend them for anything, other than a hard time.

I have bought several things from them over the years. They have always treated me well. Prices are reasonable and quality is good.
