The Vanilla Bean

First time visit. Definitely not a disappointment. Very friendly young lady served us.Cinnamon roll, eggs,toast Hashbrown casserole, one of us had bacon and the other sausage pattie. Excellent coffee. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. ample parking and seating Pastries all looked amazing.

We were driving through OK and the reviews on this place were great so we had to check it out for lunch. I glad we did. The restaurant is in a house, so find your table, then wander around to check out all the rooms. It's so cute, including a nice patio off the back. I chose the apple/cranberry/walnut salad with poppyseed dressing. Everything was so good and the portion was the perfect amount for lunch. Husband had the Gobble Gobble sandwich and crinkly fries which he said was good as well. I had some fries and can attest to their crispy, salty goodness. Service was good. I got a chocolate chocolate chip cookie to go and it was the size of my head and super chewy and well, chocolate-y. Great stop!

Definitely a hidden gem! While staying in the area I drove 1 1/2 hrs one way to eat here everyday.

This cute little place, the food is great and the service is wonderful. they offered me breakfast when on the menu it stopped at 11am. thats what i call service.

Cute little restaurant! My husband got the flamethrower burger, I got the blt. Kids got the chicken strips and the cheese pizza. The sauce on the pizza was spicy for a kids pizza, but it was still good. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious! We also got dessert - butterscotch cream pie, lemon cake, banana macaroon and Oreo cheesecake. Very generous portions! All amazing! If we are ever in Alva again, we will be back!

As someone from OKC, I felt like Alva was a game of dodging one grease trap from the other, no offense to Alva. Was pleasantly surprised by what this place had to offer: drinks, coffee, tea, broad delicious breakfast and lunch options, quick service, cool patio and indoor. Owners should be proud of this place and would recommend to out of towners for sure

Cute Restaurant-Sandwich/Soups etc They have a bar as well if you want a cocktail with your lunch or just want some good food! Great Service and Atmosphere!

Good decision to stop and have lunch instead of getting on the road and waiting until later. Emily and Jacqueline were awesome hostesses/waitresses/faces of the business. Very friendly. Great service and good food.

This is a nice little bakery and sandwich spot. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food The serving sizes were just right for us. Both the soups and sandwiches were good.

Traveling through Alva, I was looking for a place to eat. I saw the reviews and glad I stopped by. The staff were friendly and the inside is awesome. I had the cheeseburger and it was delicious. Just wished it was a bigger portion. I'll for sure stop by again. Not sure how long this place has been here but I sure hope Alva supports it.
