The Sugar Shak is not extraordinary, but it provides a need for a deli in our little town with reasonable prices and good food.

If you're rolling through town, stop here for a sandwich!!It's hard to find a place in Medford, OK to eat on Christmas Eve. The usual spots were closed so we meandered up to the Sugar Shak. I really didn't think the food would be any better than a Subway sandwich. I was wrong! The place looks unassuming enough. It's a whole in the wall which is why the food is that much better. My dad had the chicken club ($7), chips and iced tea. I had the grilled chicken sandwich ($7), chips and a pop. Total cost was $18.50 - not bad. My dad's sandwich was MASSIVE so if you are hungry that's what you should get. Mine was on a ciabatta roll that was buttery and soft. My only complaint is that the chicken was dry.

Absolutely amazing. We were passing through on a road trip from California. My family can't eat dairy and going to a pizza place can be challenging. They helped us figure out a cheeseless option and it was an amazing pizza sandwich. The customer service was great and the food tasted amazing. Make sure to get some of the wings too. I look forward to coming back some day in the future.
