The Junkyard Dog is so good with a large amount of food. Order ahead or order for pickup unless you love hanging out in bars. It can take a very long time if you just walk in and order. They are usually busy.

You can call it a dive, you can comment on the 80s 90s college bar decorum, but the food is legit. Found the wings to have a personalized craft flavoring to them. The wing sauce selection and variety is hard to find in Hays, Kansas but impossible to beat. Really pleased with my food discovery at the Sip -n- Spin. Excited for my next wing adventure at this legit dive bar.

Sometime in the past few years since the previous reviews, someone fixed this place up. It's not much to look at on the outside or the inside, but this is the best spot in Hays. I have no idea how they stay profitable with how cheap (and plentiful) the food is. Well stocked bar, and the menu is amazing. I've been there five or six times and haven't had anything that I didn't think was just incredible. In my opinion, SNS has the best burgers and wings in Hays. Each night of the week is a great deal, from 1/2 burgers on Mondays (a mammoth chunk of cow loaded with toppings for $3? yes, please!) to loaded half pound tacos on tuesdays for $2.50 and you can't miss out on Wing Wednesdays. (although, their "atomic" is much more zesty than hot.) It's also the best place to drink on a budget. Plus, the thing that matters most: the service is just outstanding. Smart, well trained, efficient, and very courteous, there's just nothing bad anyone can say about the service here. Plus, the big projection TV makes it the best spot in town to watch football. I don't come for the dancing or late night events, so I can't comment on that, but it's worth it just for the food, drinks and service.

This is a definite a dive bar, so there are plenty of reasons to not like this bar. So why do people like bar? It's large and usually not overcrowded. The dance floor is loud, but there are a lot of tables away from the dance floor where you can have a normal conversation. There are darts and a couple pool tables in the back. The patio area is nice in the summer when they have the beer bar running. The pole on the dance floor always makes for a good photo opportunity.

This is one of my favorite places to eat and socialize.It only has two windows which gives it a basement feel, but the food is amazing! The best part is half price burgers on Monday when you can get a $2 burger and a half order of fries is $1.50 making for a 4.50 meal. They also have great daily specials such as .45 cent wings on Wednesdays.The burgers are always delicious and there is a great variety of choices. If you like somewhere you can unwind, socialize, or watch sports this is a great place.

Dive Bar, this place is a time machine back to 1996, It must have been the big collage bar back in the day. This place is an awesome dive bar, I would not recommend the food, they cut there own fries that come in a puddle of grease, the bartenders try to wait the tables but never works and something is always messed up, try not to eat here if at all possible, there is the same group of drunks that seem to never leave, once the DJ sets up its time to leave, unless you like the Spice Girls next to Ozzy Osborne

Love the food! Everything I have ordered has been delicious. Since it is a bar, the atmosphere isn't the greatest during the day.

My friends and I went on a Tuesday to celebrate her passing her exam. We were practically their only business that night. They called last call at 1:30 and when no one got drinks the staff was incredibly rude and kicked us out so they could drink with their friends. They yelled at us that the bar was instantly closed and we needed to leave at 1:30. The owner needs to train their staff to be nicer to customers who give them service and no trouble.
