This is hands down the best chicken pot I've ever had. As usual these small bowls can be incredibly deceiving because I promise you one is more than enough to fill a very hungry teenage boy. The location while it was in joplin was located in a repurposed building and made into a tea house as well. They serve a daily selection of sweet pies and other baked goods. I've also tried their quiche which was light but very flavorful. If you're hosting at home you can also pre order or buy some of their take and bakes. The quality is just as good.I believe on social media they're moving to Carthage and I know for a fact I'll be following them there for more of their incredible pot pies.

We drove 40 miles to see this place, hearing how it was so amazing. It was just a life size scale of how country buildings looked in the 50's. The thing is the outsides look great, but most the insides of the buildings are full of crap, and scraps... When we went "on a Friday at 2pm" everything was closed, even the little dinner "not sure it's even functional." Basically you are just here to see a full-scale display of country living from the past in the Midwest. Nothing special for people who grew up living around these kinds of buildings. And even worse is there's really nothing to do, but, or see besides the outside of old buildings.

It has a long way to go but it also has a lot of potential. I felt the person taking our order was a little put out for having to talk with us. I started off with saying it was our first time in. She had no patience with explaining the process. It presents itself like a trying to be fancy tea room kind o place but you order at a counter and pay up front. That discourages impulse buying which is odd for a place that sells single serving pies. The pie theme is a listed over-stated. They only have three kinds of all mini single serving pies. Maybe the flavors change from day to day. We will never know because all attempts to engage with the staff and ask questions were met with dismissiveness or rudeness. We also wanted lunch and ordered sandwiches. It was all rather basic, make it at home stuff. Although it was on nice dishes and trying to be fancy it was just kind of plain and underwhelming. The best part of the place is the decor. Its trying to be interesting and upscale but they missed it on little details. For example there are little decorative pieces at the tops of the mirror, several around the table where we sat, inside these were mirrors about 4X6 inches. They were filthy, finger prints and hazy dirt. Someone took the time to put them up but never took the time to clean them. It's this kind of skimping on the details that matter. When people brought out or food, they did no engage with us, no one ever asked if we liked our food, no one ever came back to check on us or see if we needed drink refills. If we wanted to order something else no one ever gave us the opportunity. I really hope this cute place succeeds and I'd be thrilled to update my review if they get their customer service together. Otherwise we won't be coming in very often.I do have to add that we each tried a different pie, all were very good and although small very rich and we did not need more.

I tried 4 of their pies and split them with my family. I loved the pecan pie, berry pie and apple pie. The pecan, berry, and apple I had a hard time sharing haha the chocolate cream I could have passed on because it wasn't anything remarkable but my 4 year old loved that one the most so it all worked out great. The pecan, berry, and apple were AMAZING. I would definitely go back and buy them again. I'm glad there's a place like this in Joplin! It's fancy inside but low-key enough to just come as you are and have fun.

Let me just start by saying, I hate pie. I'm the person that eats the filling and leaves the crust behind all sad and lonely. However, this place has made me a pie lover! I'm not sure what magic is in this crust, but it's by far, the best pie I have ever had. There is definitely nothing left behind when I eat these amazing little gems. The chocolate cream pie is my favorite but I also enjoy the pecan, again shocking, since I hate nuts. Not only are the pies amazing, but the store is a vintage/Victorian dream. I could sit inside all day, with a good book and eat my cares away. If you haven't been, I highly recommend it.

Such a fun and cute atmosphere! Had a chocolate creme pie and an everything croissant and both were delicious. Service was fast and would definitely come here again.

I wish I could leave more stars but very slow service (waited about 15 minutes in line) and then they were out of chicken pot pie and my secondary choice of a ham sandwich but they weren't marked as sold out on the board, well I easily would have gone elsewhere. The person at the counter said that the chicken noodle soup was the same as what was in the pot pie so I ordered that anyway. The soup was marginal and I have had better out of a can. Still, a nice place with nice decor but I just can't say that i will be back.

With all the places you can go, this wouldn't be worth it if it was the last place on earth. Sad part is we drove clear on the other side of town just to try their coffee. I have NEVER been treated so unkindly and disrespectfully. Grotesque dirty floor as well. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Also this is the FIRST time I have ever left a negative review in my life. It was that bad.

Interesting little pie place in Carthage, Missouri. The broccoli salad was delicious. The little mini pecan pie was tasty however it took them a long while to get the pie from the pie safe to our table. They had to be reminded.
